Does anyone know, if we preordered both the 4Ks of Scream and The Dead Pit, are they holding off to ship them together? Assuming so, since I haven't received a shipping notice for Scream yet.

I'm dying with curiosity to see if they actually got a fresh, properly-executed scan from the negative for real, alleviating all the insane gate wobble and instability of the prior hd transfer. The blu ray looked like it was scanned during a hurricane, in the middle of an earthquake, by alcoholics in withdrawal suffering the DT's. But I just can't seem to make myself push the button on a Scream '81 4k, and the lack of HDR isn't helping matters in the justification department.....

Drive-In #19 is....interesting. A Smokey & The Bandit parody featuring the disco-R&B trio 'HOT', and a Canadian 'western'? lol. Hoping to see it bundled with Moonlighting Wives so I can grab both.

Thing is, Alien Thunder (or Dan Candy’s Law, as it’s also known) isn’t a drive-in type movie. It may have played drive-ins back in the day, but anyone expecting a trashy b-movie is in for a surprise. It’s a very sombre, very seventies revisionist western. Glad it’s getting an HD transfer after years of awful public domain pan & scan releases, though.

It seems like it, it hasn't been available on the Dark Force site for a while. I got it off ebay for like 18 bucks new a couple months ago. I'd suggest buying now if it's still not getting scalper prices.

Sometimes they get a wider release through MVD and sometimes they don't. Bog/Mako seems to be another one that only pops up occasionally in the DF store but no where else.

With the recent VS release of Freeway, Dark Force would probably be able to easily sell copies of this if they'd put it up for sale again.

My copy of Dark Force 4K #1 arrived today from Hollywood Gym/Dark Force Entertainement!

And because it did not include a standard HD Blu-ray or the Special Features advertised on the back of the case I made mine a combo pack too, and now it has it all!

I ordered it on 6 days ago, the dark force sent me an email 2 days ago that it was shipped but no tracking #, it arrived today.

He would have no reason to forget since Big Commerce has the ability to keep track of orders that haven't shipped.

I preordered these with 2 Blu-rays that did ship last year so I'm thinking since it was one single order that contains shipped items it's possible the preorders may have been overlooked. If Dave uses a shipping system that really does keep track of unshipped then I have nothing to worry about. Something tells me that he ships "on the fly" though

. I've received some items from them with handwritten labels.

Has anyone else who preordered Scream 4K last August had any shipping notifications?

I haven't, but Dave said it would ship with the Dead Pit UHD which should be coming out of replication any day now.
