Hmm, but let's take Suspiria as an example to refute this. The Synapse 4K is much more colorful than their BD or any of the previous BDs released for the film. Wouldn't you say it's a high-detail scan too?

Again, Halloween 1 4K (all releases) vs Halloween 1 Anchor Bay DVD refutes in the other direction.

I went with the Kill Crazy + Moonlighting Wives bundle and added... Groupie (ehhhh)... for "free" shipping. So basically paid a net $3 for groupie.

When my Scream Blu shipped, the post office sent it right back to DF for some unknown reason, and I didn't find out about it until the tracking updated. I contacted Dave via the same email the shipping notification was sent from. Told him the situation and offered to pay to reship. He got back to me quick, told me it was no problem and I had my disc in a matter of days. Got rid of the PO box after that experience. I live up a long driveway in the country, but the local post office has really gone south lately. Anyway, great customer service in my case.

Hey wink you can contact us via the Facebook page or email at defal3@aol.com and we can check on the status of your order. We have fulfilled and shipped all of the pre-orders for DEAD PIT 4K and SCREAM 4K dating back to August of last year. So you should have received a shipping notification from the store. Otherwise we will look into the order.

Hey JC you can definitely get a replacement for a scratched disc. Just contact us on Facebook or email at defal3@aol.com and we will ship out the replacement disc right away. We did hear about one disc that had some scratches but not sure if that was you or not.

Hey Zeze we got inundated with problems on our first 2 4k UHD releases SCREAM and DEAD PIT that caused numerous lengthy delays including the high end scanner at the lab we use needed repair. Subsequently due to the high cost of 4K production and the delays we ended up only replicating 1000 initially rather than the 2000 planned. To make matters worse a decent percentage of the run got damaged during assembly at the replicator. So unfortunately amongst all those issues we were just scrambling just to get it out and and fulfill pre-orders going way back to August of last year and the sub-titles were over-looked. You are free to return the unopened copy for a full refund though. On the plus side the #3 4K release of FINAL EXAM will definitely include sub-titles.

It was. Thanks for getting back to me quickly. I appreciate the quick response and hoping that the next disc is scratch free.

BTW, I thought the disc looked great, when I didn't have to stop play from the freezing. Looking forward to other 4K releases.

Ordered the Kill Crazy/Hard Rock Nightmare 2 pack tonight. Noticed a few price drops on some other titles as well. One that stuck out was Redneck for $14. Great flick if you don't have that one!

Some random thoughts on the video quality of "The Dead Pit" 4k UHD...very nice details, very nice grain, very nice colors( with subtle, but beautiful use of HDR... love those stylized lighting scenes!). There are some minimal source related specks/marks in the presentation, which IMHO could have been cleaned up a bit more( manually perhaps), but thankfully no DNR. Fine effort overall. I look forward to "Final Exam" on 4k UHD.

Got my copy in the mail today and the 4K disc has a few small scratches on it as well. Will have to watch it tonight to see if there are any issues.
