Probably wouldn't happen untill early next year (after a more reasonable knowledge of its profitability is known, after home sales figures are known). Playing with numbers at any time is good fun, but then again I am studying accounting at uni.

Hmmm, but it lists running time at 115 min which was the theatrical running time. I would love an extended cut!

Where did you find this? The Foreign rights for T3 were similarly lopsided due to the increased grosses Terminator does internationally.

I do hope it's a watchmen situation where they release a longer cut on BD. The TC was fine, but have no rewatchability value as all the connective tissue to the story and the characters is missing (but can be glimpsed in all the 4 trailers)

There's an online petition to actually change the proposed plot to T5:

Can't remember. Sorry, I remember reading several articles just before and as it was released stating this.

Well, you guys know I wasn't totally behind the T4 story - felt they dropped the ball.

I think people want to see the story "progress". T4 felt more like filler than anything. Really, very little happened that told us anything more we didn't already know. No big revelations, no major Terminator vs. Humans battles (although the beginning had some fun action).

I would definitely rather stay in the future. Let's get this story done.

Is it too soon to "reboot" this proposed trilogy?

Well, hopefully theres not gonna be T5 with that awful story that McG told about Connor going back in time with army of robots to fight earlier Skynet and a scientist turning into T-1000 Marvel superhero style. They even have an online petition to stop that story from happening
