I had checked earlier today and the site was still down so when I saw it was finally open again I ordered the same bundle.

I saw some good write-ups for Kill Crazy so I had it on my "buy" list. I also wanted Final Exam so it was a perfect match.

And sly ol' Demon....he reopened the DF superstore on the last Friday of the month, which was probably also a payday for lots of folks still doing the daily grind out there, so some crazy kids will be handing over their paychecks. Smooth operator, the Demon....Heck, that's what I would've done too

FYI, Demon, still loving that Gates of Hell 35mm vintage print copy!!! What a great idea for Fulci superfans, and just a cool release in general, to make available to collectors. The nice slip was a sweet bonus too. Hats off to you! It's great to see that Capsaholic even got a hold of a copy of the DF 35mm print copy and threw up some screen grabs for us. They're worth looking through carefully, for folks that might not have grabbed the DF blu but are curious what the awesome old film print looks like. Very educational.

Yep, she's zoomed, faded, contrasty as hell, typical hearty teal push, loaded with chemical staining, discoloration, instability, and all sorts of scratches, dirt, slag, hairs, and other print damage. It's sorta....glorious in its own way.

That's kinda the whole point though (framing issue aside).

Good question willo007 and I have a great answer. It will be available in May. We are doing some great extras on it. This 2001 direct-to-video action/thriller starring Mark Dacoscas had something very special in it...the lead bad guy a cop turned brutal serial killer was played by an upcoming actor named Tim Abell who basically stole the show. He did an amazing job with the character and really made the movie. Luckily we got him and he is all over the extras. So not much longer of a wait and this one is definitely special thanks to Mr. Abell. Highly recommended that to aspiring actors to study his performance in this. All of our production people agree on this...he did an amazing job and made the movie.

Appreciate the comments DaylightsEnd...KILL CRAZY is a lot of violent fun and a great cast and FINAL EXAM...well another 4K homerun. We got it looking spectacular and it's a very fun 80's slasher flick. The glossy BLOODY SLIP really looks cool in person as well. Hope you enjoy!

God I am such a ***** for those drive in double features. I just picked up the Smokey and the Judge / Alien Thunder disc. The trailer that I could find online for Smokey looks like maximum cheese, so this will be a fine Friday night I'm thinking.

Just now hearing the Superstore is open....since I asked, or hoped it would be offered, I picked up the Moonlighting Wives / Drive-In #19 2-pac. Great price for that IMO.
To feed the martial arts monkey on my back, tossed in Drive-In #10 (BLACK DRAGON/ENFORCER FROM DEATH ROW).

Looking forward to checking these out, thanks Dave!

I think the only one of the range I don't have is the Flossy/Keep it Up Jack disc. Porn doesn't really interest me, and the lack of trailers and interstitials for the True Drive-In Experience killed the desire to own it. Half the fun is the Double Feature feature.

Can't speak to the other, but I strongly endorse Black Dragon / Enforcer from Death Row. Enforcer is not one I would call "fun", but it's entertaining. Black Dragon is exactly what you would expect from a kung fu studio that wants to make blaxploitation kung fu flick but can't afford Jim Kelly.

Also, I strongly endorse the Chinese Hercules / Bruce's Ninja Secret as a fun disc. Bolo Yeung is always a blast to watch. And you can never go wrong with Bruceploitation.

And look out for The Loners / The Dragon vs The Needles of Death. Both are dumb fun movies. The Loners is an already forty Dean Stockwell playing a teenage hippy in an Easy Rider knock off. And of course Dragon vs The Needles of Death is Bruce Lee in a kung fu battle against someone who uses needles to kill. It does exactly what it says on the tin.

As long as Dragon / Enforcer is entertaining, that's all I ask lol. I never go into obscure(?) martial arts films expecting much more than that.

I've wanted to check out the Chinese Hercules/Bolo film for a while now, was hoping that Dave would scrounge up a few copies at some point. Otherwise I'll just grab it off Amazon.

I have the Loner's / Dragon disc and had great fun with it

I watched "Redneck" recently, which is a really nasty, well-made piece of 70s Eurocrime. Franco Nero and Telly Savalas play two criminals carrying out a jewelry heist, with Nero's beautiful girlfriend as the getaway driver. Things go haywire, and they end up kidnapping a young boy (Mark Lester), who happens to come from an extremely wealthy family. The rest of the film follows the foursome on the run, where it essentially becomes a four-character film.

Nero is terrific as the calmer, more rational of the pair of robbers, constantly trying to protect Lester in a begrudging way. However, the real highlight is Savalas, who plays a true psychopath and keeps it ratcheted up all the way quite literally the entire runtime. I don't know if they plied Telly with drugs before each scene or what, but dude is charged the f**k up in this one. It's something to watch and deliriously entertaining. His character is one of the most purely insane I've seen in some time.

There's also a good interview on the disc with Lester where he makes some humorous comments about the amount of time Nero spent in the makeup chair. I definitely recommend snagging this one from Dark Force's store, as I believe it's currently exclusive to there.
