Are you sure? Years 1, 3 & 5 are all listed as 2.41:1 on this site, while 2, 4, 6 & 7 are 2.40:1.

I searched the thread and didn't find anything for it, but has anyone created custom art for the Target exclusive Hunger Games sets? I'm putting them into standard cases and was curious.

Sounds like someone is counting pixels.

2.41:1 is not a standard ratio. Technically, neither is 2.40. But, the standard projection aperture is 2.39 and some small fraction. Most people in the industry round it to 2.40, when they use that number at all. Most people refer to anamorphic widescreen as "2.35", which is the rounded up ratio of the unsqueezed camera negative.

So, as I climb up out of the weeds, since Warner very often mattes their 'Scope transfers to 800 x 1920 pixels, I'd suggest sticking to referencing "2.40:1" for these discs, if for nothing else than consistency.

Finally put the finishing touches on a few more covers.

#421 - Pierrot le fou this is not a direct scan, but I did my best to replicate the original as mine was destroyed

I enjoy making them.
They fulfill the purpose that I make them for.
Some other people enjoy them as well.

If you don't like them or understand them, that's totally fine, but whether or
not you understand them doesn't really change any of the above facts.

So I offer you this solution: Don't use them. And allow the people who enjoy
them to do so without your condescending comments that add nothing to the
