Doing some organizing this weekend and found my copy of Magdalena. That poor slip was looking nice when I last saw it, but the 'glow decay' has really accelerated, and she is not looking good.

Looking forward to picking up all the new stuff, especially those new kung-fu flicks.

A decaying slipcover is actually a neat idea. Would be cool for a title like The Dead are Alive. Over time the flesh could peel away to reveal that great original artwork of the skinned head.

The slipcover version was limited to 2000. If they did a SE perhaps it's in between pressings.

It seems unlikely. I can't remember them doing a Slip pre-release and not listing it once/twice in the description, and then also showing the artwork mockup with a Slip and not just the bare cover.

Thanks for sharing this information. This is what I was thinking too. I’m surprised they don’t do a slipcover with every 4K Blu-Ray release now. I think they have done one for everyone since their first 4K Blu-ray, Scream, didn’t have one.

I ordered Shadow Fist Hunter and Deadly Kung Fu as the only new titles of my sale order, I'm expecting it will ship in next couple of weeks.

New to Dark Force. What's a normal amount of time for an order to ship, i.e. at what point do I need to worry that something's wrong? Do they notify you at the time it actually ships out, or does the package just arrive when it arrives? I am a US customer.

I think I've pretty much only ordered new releases and it seems to take a long time, like a month or so many times. It's shipped in a bubble mailer with cardboard peices around it to try and protect it. Many times I don't even get notified it shipped but I will see them pop up in my Shop app. That being said, I love their stuff and have bought most of it.

I placed my order on December 18th - so I won't start bugging them unless we're coming up on Valentine's Day and still nothing. They have a lot of neat stuff in their catalog you can't get anywhere else. If I'm satisfied with the disc I'm sure it won't be my last. Do they have some kind of schedule for when their site is online though? I visited recently to find it Down for Maintenance (which it remains now).

Not really a schedule no. Dave will randomly say he's opening the store up on the weekend or whatever though it seems like realistically it doesn't open until very late Sunday or Monday sometimes after he says that. I'm not complaining, again I love their stuff, but ya the store doesn't have a schedule you just gotta keep an ear out but if you follow them on Facebook and Insta you won't miss it. Dave is also frequently posting in this thread too. BTW I recommend checking out many of their Drive In Double Features they are my favorite things from them besides the 4k releases.

As of right now it does not but there is a possibility that could change. It does feature an incredible new 4K top of the line scan with HDR from the original pristine 35mm camera negative and well have a brand new audio commentary track featuring producer/recording artist Jimmy Lifton. Should be a great release either way.

Hey Brads just so you know your Black Friday order has been shipped and the recent order except for MIRROR MIRROR 4K. That title will not be ready to ship until the earliest end of this month. But you will be among the first to get it when it does. The awesome DEADLY KUNG FU FACTOR has just arrived and the last of the Black Friday orders that included that title are currently being shipped out as quickly as possible.

Welcome dwtyler, we normally do ship out orders right away unless it's a pre-order title and then it is stated when the title will be shipped. The store does send out shipping notifications upon shipment. We have been a little behind from the heavy volume of orders from Black Friday but getting caught up quickly now. The new release MIRROR MIRROR 4K won't be ready for shipment until approximately the end of the month to early February.
