No matter what they do to this movie, Push it forward, move it back, release it digitally...you'll get the same response. Keeping it where it was, where now it would have had even more competition and a chance to gross less...yeah thats zero confidence

Because this is the only movie being affected by the closures, and every time it does get affected it's a bad thing

My reaction is still the same. Its a sucky situation, but I still cannot wait for this movie.

WB wants a big movie to kick off summer 2021. The logistics of filming an action-heavy blockbuster like the fourth Matrix in a post-lockdown world are daunting and unknown. It might not be ready in time. GvK is pretty much done. Giving it this spot, and the expectations that come with it, shows more confidence than rushing it out just to get it over with.
