he was clearly talking about Heimdell who was stabbed maybe an hour prior in the movie....Coulson was never his best friend, not like Heimdell. He sought his comfort after the bifrost was broken and often called for help from him 'let me see' in Ragnorok for example.

Thor never saw how the Warriors 3 died. He doesn't even seem to know they died since he also never talk about Sif.
Anyway, on the PS Store, we can pre-order the Digital version of Infinity War. It mention ''Pre-order + Bonus'' but there nothing mentioning what is the bonus contents. PS4 avatars & theme? |

If you ask me, Infinity War is what The Last Jedi desperately wanted to be, but failed in a incoherent, nonsensical matter.
The downer ending, the deaths (both legit and illegitimate), the villain's motivations, the heroes' screw-ups and whatnot...it all makes sense, flows in a coherent manner and pays off exceeding well in Infinity War, whereas in The Last Jedi, its cinematic gibberish passed off as "subverting expectations". |

Last Jedi was a chore for me. I felt nothing (no emotion, thrills, etc). Infinity War gave me everything and more.

Just got back from seeing the movie with my Dad. I was glued to my seat to the entire time. The Russos are certainly great directors for these movies; that being said, they didn't handle this cast quite as well as they did in Civil War, but then again, there are twice as many characters here, and half were killed off at the end, which leaves more breathing room for Avengers 4.
While part of me wishes Steve or Tony had bitten the dust (so to speak) at the end, I think leaving them around (along with all the rest of the original 6 Avengers) will make it that much more impactful if/when one of them dies in Avengers 4, as they and the original 6 give one last hurrah together. It seems pretty clear that Strange is playing the long game, having realized that letting Thanos win (for now) will ultimately be the 1 in 14 million scenarios that eventually lets the Avengers win. Exactly how this plays out in Avengers 4 remains to be seen, but now I'm that much more eager to see it all the same. I also find Strange much better used here than he was in his own movie; he works better as a supporting character than a headliner, even if he did carry a lot of weight this time. Sure, thanks to time travel/alternate dimension shenanigans we'll undoubtedly get in Avengers 4, a lot of the deaths in this movie probably won't stick, but seeing how these deaths affect everyone else and how our heroes turn things around is exactly why we're all looking forward to the next one. I really hope Ant-Man and the Wasp takes place post-IW, so we can see the effects of "the snap" on ordinary people. Also, from the way he was name-dropped in this film, I wouldn't be shocked if Hawkeye turns up in Ant-Man and the Wasp (how are we abbreviating that movie? AW?). Not that I wasn't excited for Captain Marvel, too, but knowing the importance she and that movie are going to have in Avengers 4 has my anticipation for seeing it even higher now. Nice to see Fury and Hill show up in the stinger, too. Well, there's still a lot for me to take in, but overall, this was great. Good job, Marvel. |

How is it just his head floating around? I've saw the movie twice, he's unsure of himself in it and you see from around mid-chest level and up. It's not just his head. Maybe you guys had some dark theaters but even in REAL 3D I could make out his body inside the suit.

I think blaming Star Lord and defending it is gonna annoy me more than MARTHA.
Strange said they only win in ONE scenario. Clearly that scenario is one where Peter flips out over the death of Gamora. I guess most people wouldn't react like Star Lord? You'd just be cool as dixie with this until after the glove came off, because instant human reactions are usually handled like this? Let's blame Thor too. He knew it was a SNAP, should have chopped the hand off vs going for the chest. Seriously. |
