The Shining 4K UHD (1980)

Finally bit the bullet on the Euro cut last month. Haven't watched it yet though. Hopefully I hate it, haha.

Eh, I've already done it using the stunning BD so I'm good on that front, my steam-driven PC can't rip 4K discs anyway so I couldn't do it on any hypothetical Aliens UHD disc even if I wanted to.

This being Cameron though he much prefers the extended cut so it wouldn't surprise me if that was all we got on UHD.

I’d love a 10-hour cut if it helped the story, but there’s only one added scene in the Extended Edition that does.
