Really? Because virtually all of the ammunition for the "Mark Hamill hates the ST and has destroyed Disney and Rian Johnson - definitively proving that this is not the trilogy we should have got...." campaign comes from the The Director And Jedi documentary that Disney provided with the TLJ Blu Ray.

I happen to enjoy all nine movies.

Agreed. If the unaltered versions aren't part of the set, then I'll pass.

Ok....people have different opinions than you. I don’t see why this so hard for you to fathom. Stop giving your unsolicited thoughts on what other people think or spend their money on. You and some others have nothing to add to this thread so go find something better to do because nobody cares

That's just cherry picking on their part. That one is certainly a bit more honest than the rest, but I still got the impression Hamill was happy with the end result when it came down to it. I got the impression they were trying to show the process of him going from "I don't know about this" to "okay cool this works", but naturally the naysayers only focused on the former.

They cherry-picked the most definitive critique of Disney and their handling of Star Wars to date? ( if you believe everyone who makes one half of that documentary the final word on RJ's mishandling of TLJ and Luke. )

And the people who have used it till now haven't cared, and willfully ignored, that Hamill qualified all his comments as "no surprise" given his track record in opinions about the directions the franchise has taken over the years.

Funny how, now that it's necessary to show how Disney never reports the bad news, some people are suddenly giving credence to the idea that Hamill DIDN'T destroy Disney/RJ etc in those interviews.

I don't see why it wouldn't contain a similar amount of extras to TFA and TLJ so I am expecting a 60-90 minute documentary, half a dozen shorter featurettes, deleted scenes and perhaps a commentary, the same goes for the bonus discs for Episodes 1-6 but hopefully they will also include the extras from the DVD and BDs to make them some what complete.

I don't hold out much hope for anything revelatory or new over and above what we've already had from LFL.

Aye laddie. This is just me being all doom and gloom but LFL have made a ****ing career out of omitting special features from one set to the next, and while I dig the notion that the individual bonus discs for 1-6 could be some kind of repository for all existing content it seems like a long shot.

Yeah. Even the Complete Saga from 2011 managed to leave out From Star Wars To Jedi

I loved the Crystal Star!

I like them all except THE LAST JEDI (and even that film, I like the Rey/Kylo stuff). If the extra features are comprehensive, then it's totally worthwhile imo.

I have to agree. Disney may have thrown Lucas' sequel treatments aside, but they may very well embrace LFL's strategy of re-releasing the movies and adding a little bit more stuff each time, but never going full on out.

You really don't understand how people can have a different opinion than you on subjective art? Holy close minded narcissist Batman!

Pre-ordered! This is going to look beautiful. Love all 9 movies --- It's Star Wars, people! Interested in all the opinions I've been reading, but, a few of you need to relax and let it go. Can't wait for this set!

This is precisely why I will wait for individual releases. TFA and RO have already been announced and I imagine it won't be too long before we see the original six get individual releases.
