I don't know what your deal is with shitting on movie theaters, but it's getting old. I know you're just a kid and you don't understand this whole socializing in person communal experience thing, what with being raised by your smartphone, but it's an important activity for a lot of us and I'm tired of seeing your cringey posts.

My TV is small, sis.

You can always put me on your ignore list.

I'm not hating on movie theatres. I just want them to do better. It's 2021 but some of them still suffer from non-stadium uncomfortable cloth seats, crappy sound systems, and tiny screens.

Before the pandemic I was going to 100+ movies a year. Luckily I know every screen at my local theatre like the back of my hand so I know which ones to avoid (the outdated ones).

Scream (1996) is filled with loud noises, jump scares, trying to be funny and talking about pop culture...

Are you sure it's your favorite movie?

In the leaked audition video of Chad's character, he says "okay, Edward Snowden" when someone suggests deleting social media and taping your phone camera. He also calls his arms "Hobbs & Shaw."

This leaked audition is accurate from what I know. But hopefully those cringe lines didn't make the final cut.

I forgot which theatre I was looking at pics of but this also made me laugh.
This looks a lot like the local AMC I visit.

Not hard to imagine why the theatrical experience doesn't do much for me. Would be nice if something better was built in another nearby town but I'm not holding my breath. I had hopes when AMC bought out Carmike but all they did was change the sign and added hot dogs to the menu.

Fans are asking this 100x a day on Reddit and twitter lmao.

The directors Radio Silence are following random fans too and it's becoming cringe. The Radio Silence fans are refusing to believe the real leaks. "I know this franchise is in great hands" lmao stfu you've probably only been a fan for a few years.

This fandom is toxic.

That's what I'm expecting too. But damn, the movie is only 4 months away and we don't even have a teaser yet.

Seems to be the norm nowadays.

Plus, Paramount just pushed back a couple of its movies to next year, so it's possible they are still not sure if it will keep the January release date.

It's really not THAT unusual. I think fans are just being a bit impatient.

I thought we were getting a trailer with the Scream Fathom Event in October. Maybe that was just speculation though. I’m thinking October though.

With release dates in a continual state of flux, I would imagine studios are skittish about kicking off an advertising campaign in earnest. Look at how all of the movies that were originally scheduled for release in 2020 essentially set fire to all of their advertising budgets for naught. I would imagine that studios won't want to have trailers out until they know, for CERTAIN, that a release date is going to stick.
