Apparently I was up to passing out.

Just got home from work, eating a turkey sandwich and watching Family Guy.

Don't feed the gremlins after dark!

I'm just going to wash some clothes and sit on my ass watching tv.

What are you up to?

Soooo. After running multiple measurements these last days i think I've found a good compromise between acoustics and space. My solution was too move the sofa and speakers back and squeeze in as much treatment as possible without it being overly ugly. Removed the bottom rear corner traps as they took quite a bit of room (~40cm) and didn't really help that much as the sofa was already there.

Today i also tried everything i could on the front wall. Not much changed there either even with 12" absorption behind the front left, right and subs and speakers moved much away from the wall.

Professional acoustician would properly say the top corners which i omit are pretty important too treat but with brick walls and heavy rockwool it's not very easy too do.

So you've moved your couch against the back wall? Are your front speakers and components closer to the front wall also?

You really need to get that pj shelf put up soon.

Yes all is back too how it was in the old days. Only difference is now there's absorption up (none at all when i started out. )

The AV rack were already as close back as i could get it, minus 4" of a panel i've just placed behind there. The speakers are closer back than my "medium" setup from before but with better toe in than the "compressed" setup. I also left a few cm of air so it's not totally too one extremity but close.

Muscle man? Hahahaha. With the right sweater and from the right angle perhaps (<-the front). No seriously i need too loose some weight 15-20kg would be nice. Im 90-95kg at the moment and my BMI (im 181cm) tell me my ideal weight is from 61-81kg.
