Almost everyone of those teams has issues that could allow Bama to get past them, but if even one plays to its max potential and Bama takes it lightly then they're done.

In a very surprising decision Jeremiah Masoli has won his appeal to play this season at Ole Miss and will be eligible immediately.

Bama is ranked #1 right now despite all of those issues and their schedule? This is why I love BCS rankings.

Well in fairness I think they are the best team in the country, though they'll lose a game or two minimum IMO. But ya, I wish they wouldn't even bother doing rankings until at least week 5 or 6 of the season.

National championships being decided by pre-season rankings are why we had that mess with LSU and OSU(I believe) awhile back, might happen again this year if say Texas goes 11-0 and Bama goes 10-1 and BSU goes 11-0.

UCF beefed up their future schedule today, with a game at BYU next year and a return game in 2014, games with South Carolina in 2013 (at UCF) and 2015 (at USC), and games with UConn in 2014 (road) and 2015 (home). South Carolina will be the first SEC team to ever play at UCF. The BYU game next year replaces a scheduled game at Texas, which was rescheduled for 2017.

That's great news. My hope is that within the next several years UCF can work their way up to the Big East. There's a good chance that can happen as long as we remain one of the better schools in the CUSA.

There's no reason why the UCF sports programs can't become a real force eventually. It's the largest university in the state of Florida and located in a major city, Orlando. And there's so much much football talent produced at the high school level in Florida to support more top-notch college football programs than just UF, Miami and FSU.

Actually the progress UCF has sustained over just a few years if that continues I could see them getting a better offer then the Big East except maybe conferences would hesitate to add them if they really became exceptional.

I really didn't expect Florida to lose a step this year but they really are playing a garbage game against Miami (OH). After 3 quarters only 48 TOTAL yards for the Gators?!?

When I first turned the game on my TV I thought there was something wrong with the TV because of the blur. Then I realized it was just the extreme Florida summer heat causing the effect.
