The show used to be cool and interesting. I was a little turned off with the last set of judges, although they eventually grew on me, but these new judges...

Really...? Nicki Minaj...? I understand she's this little diva that little girls look up to but give me a break. That woman is terrible and most of her singing is lip singing lol.

Not sure about the ratings part but last year had some great talent. Season 9 was probably the weakest year for talent in my eyes. Got Em!!

Why are yall so quick to judge Minaj? Lets see her in action first. Maybe she will actually offer advice and give real criticism unlike J-Lo or Tyler. U cant get any worse than those nice judges. Got Em!!

I actually use someone's birth name when I hate them haha. Like all of the Jersey Shore people, I never use their stupid nicknames. If I don't like them, I don't think they deserve their stage names haha.

Same here. My wife was a hardcore fan but hasn't been interested in years. I'm surprised this show is still going.

Nice premiere. Love the judges so far. I just want firm judging and not always sugar coating. Looks like Minaj will speak the truth for sure. I think the guy with one leg shouldve made it through. Also the chick who had that tight white dress on (cant remember her name) was sexy! She couldnt sing but wow she was hott! It was the chick that Nicki started meowing to lol. The dude with the wig and MJ outfit was funny with his thrust haha. Got Em!!

I'm not sure I like the competing between Mariah and Nicki. Actually feel sorry for Keith for having to sit between them and I usually wish I was the person between two women.. but not those two. They are one wrong comment away from a cat fight. Also what is up with the judges going off talking to themselves and completely ignoring the contestants? It's extremely rude even if they were terrible singers.

As far as the contestants there hasn't been just a whole lot of good singers shown yet. I liked the one lady who said she was 200+ pounds in high school and lost a lot of weight - she was looking good. The only other person that sent to Hollywood that I can even remember was the Turbinator. Sadly that's probably the last they even feature him on camera. Can't believe the judges told the one leg kid no and the girl Randy actually went to get to audition - you know the girl with the guitar. She may have messed up a little but I think she deserved a chance. Seems like the producers have told the judges to really crack down on how many contestants they let go to Hollywood to keep costs down.

I didn't even watch it and I have no intentions of watching it.

I enjoyed the show with Simon, Paula, and Randy. I was a little turned off after they left and it was Steven Tyler, J. Lo, and Randy, but I at least appreciated their work as musicians so it was tolerable.

While Mariah Carey and Keith Urban are good, I can't see myself watching Nicki Minaj. The show is supposed to be a talent show where you know, people are supposed to be good singers. Why would you allow people with terrible music and terrible talent to be on a show?

I guess all in all I'm just sick of these judge changes. Pretty soon it won't be anyone from the original lineup and it will be an even bigger joke.

Yea wasnt to many great singers shown yet but it was only the first show. Cant believe u dont remember the girl in the tight white dress with the accent. Her mom was rambling outside with Ryan about how she sings everywhere. She was hot! Got Em!!
