Other than that, what erict said.

rc10s are sitting on my front door step at this moment courtesy of fedex. i don't have my h/k receiver yet for them, but i'll hook them up to my adcom amp tonight to see how they sound. i'm quite curious to see what they will sound like compared to my c500s...

Wasn't someone here looking for some RC-R's? I found a great price on them ($218.40 each):

http://www.audiophileliquidator.net/...s_id=94&page=1

Hey Pope, they've got your Rosenut RC-LCR there for $429...

I'm also curious to know what Doubldekersoulwreker got his RC-30's for...

I'd be careful buying from http://www.audiophileliquidator.net. Not much good feedback on them.

I've read that too. I've tried calling them several times within the last 2 months and haven't been able to speak to anyone yet, just voicemail.

So I received a response since I never had my money deducted out of my account. I ordered back on 2/28. I sent them an email, and my response said they are out of stock. Not sure why they never informed me about it but now I'm not sure where to get them.

I asked if they will get any in stock soon so I'll wait for their reply.

If I can't find the C-C100, what's the next upgrade for my C series?

well i'm listening to the rc10s as i type...so far so good. i will say they definitely image as well if not better than my c500s. i have them sitting on bookshelves no less(a bookshelf speaker on a bookshelf!?!) right next to my c500s. they're currently playing some radiohead in "pure direct" mode. they definitely have very impressive bass for their size, but that doesn't mean they still don't need a sub. i definitely can hear what many have said in that they really have a relaxed tweeter. it sounds much different than my c500s, at least right now it does. it's almost like the highs are understated. i haven't cranked them yet, but from early impressions, these things can get loud. i'm sure i'll get used to it. as of now, i'm very pleased w/ the purchase...

erict-i don't think i'd have any issues replacing my towers w/ these. the build quality really is astounding. i was admiring my c500s the other day w/ the grills off, but the rc10s put them to shame. the finish rosenut really is beautiful. it really is a crying shame that the cherry and rosenut finishes have been discontinued, and the fact that the rc-lcr is currently over $600 at vanns.

"subterranean homesick alien" from ok computer sounds sublime through them...

The closest match would be a CC-10. http://www.vanns.com/shop/servlet/it...95/energy-cc10

It's still a better upgrade using the C-C50? I should not have any issues with sound if I got the CC-10?

Thanks guys. I greatly appreciate it since I'm not an audio guy. I was excited about the C-C100, until I found out they were out of stock.

Where did you find them in rosenut? I see vann's only has them in black. I would pull the trigger on them but I'm not sure how well they would match the C-C100 because the RC-LCR is too expensive.

Did you mean the CC-10 is a better upgrade then using your current C-C50?

ok, just a couple songs later...

now "ok computer" is really one of my all time favorites if not favorite record ever. over the past 13yrs since it came out, i've listened to it cover to cover countless times.

through the rc10s i'm hearing things i never heard before. i think now maybe buying them was not the best of ideas, they leave me wandering what i've been missing...

vanns.com has a couple pairs in rosenut for rediculous prices now on their clearance page. i think the cheapest ones are $479 right now w/ blemishes. i got my pair from vanns last week for $299 off the clearance page. i guess i got lucky on the rosenut as they seemed to have raised the price by about $200 since i bought mine. my pair doesn't have a scratch on them; i guess they were just a customer return...

Are you going to try them in place of your C-500's? Because I would be curious on how well the match the C-C100.

i'd definitely say it'd be an upgrade. there may be a slight tonal difference, but probably not one you'd notice too much, if at all. i say go for it, unless you want to wait for a c-c100 to pop up on ebay. there's one on audiogon now for $125, but it's the cherry finish...
