It's a great sale. I have kept up with Dark Force releases during their various sales, so I don't think I have enough titles of need to bite.

Hey, Dave, what were you planning on using for the Death Ship & Terror Train 4Ks before you bailed? I'm glad both have found a home with Kino but they're looking for materials to use for "possible" 4Ks

BTW, my House of Seven Corpses 4K shipped - thanks!

The movies weren’t split up between labels, they’re split between trusts in Corman’s kid’s names. The movies Shout has access to are from a settlement made with one of those trusts.

Was able to grab Giant Spider 4K, Seven Corpses 4K as well as the Bog/ Improved transfer Mako at a bargain.

Went to check out to see I was $20 off free international shipping, so just went back and grabbed the Beast and the Vixens blu-ray essentially for free.

You made out really good fuzzymctiger, shipping to Australia is very high so it was wise to meet the free shipping threshold. Some good really good titles you have coming as well. Was the Bog/Mako disk improved from it's initial release? I bought it when it first came out but only watched Bog.

I think they just mean it was an improvement over the Mako disc in the Arrow boxset. Dark Force only ever released the one version.

Yes this is what I meant.

Mako was a highlight for me in the Arrow box and I was a bit miffed to find out they clearly didn’t look hard enough for materials only for Dark Force to find them.

Bog is also kind of fun.

My copy of House of Seven Corpses was waiting for me when I got to work. Nice slip. Sad that it's the final UHD from Dark Force I'll own.

Their UHD's have been a mixed bag (sometimes in the same disc), but I've always looked forward to them and have ordered them all. Stuff like Velvet Smooth was both awesome and frustrating at times (rough sources?) while Mirror, Mirror looked fantastic!

I wasn't super impressed by any of their UHDs to be totally honest, but was more than happy to upgrade some, including Scream lol. My heart sank when they declared they would stop releasing 4Ks but felt better when it was revealed that other labels would take some titles. It doesn't look like Death Ship nor Terror Train are being re-released on UHD, though, unless Kino finds the OCNs.
