I would have used Matt Morgan & Luke Gallows.

Anybody seen Turning Point? The ladder match was quite good. Many great spots from Hardy.

So i guess it's obvious....

Garrett Bischoff, Wes Briscoe, Mike Knox, DOC, Devon, and D-Lo Brown are Aces & 8s.

Mike Knox has been working under the mask.

The one dude with the long hair = Wes Briscoe.

Hulk Hogan Says He Wants To Be TNA World Champion In 2013

TNA star Hulk Hogan was recently interviewed by the UK's Guardian website as part of a "Celebrity Christmas Wish Lists" feature. Here's what's on Hogan's wish list, including some interesting comments about wanting to not only wrestle again - but to also be TNA World champion:

1) Thirty years of life: I want my youth back. I wouldn't change anything, though. I'd wrestle all over again. The same matches.

2) 747 jet I would like my own private jet plane again. I'd take all the wrestlers with me on the plane. I don't just want a little Learjet, I want a 747. That would be a wild plane.

3) Knee surgery I've had eight back surgeries, I've had knee replacements, I've had both hip replacements. I only need one more surgery – to fix my right knee – then I'm going to go for the TNA world title. I want to be 59 years old and be the champion.

4) Hair I want a full head of hair.

Here are some TNA Wrestling business figures for November 2012 compared to the previous year, courtesy of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter:

* Impact Wrestling averaged a 0.96 rating with 1.27 million viewers. Compared to 2011, the average rating is down 18% and the audience is down 21%, when the show was averaging a 1.17 rating with 1.61 million viewers.

Impact’s decline in ratings and viewership is more significant than the losses seen by WWE RAW and SmackDown for November.

* TNA’s Live Events averaged 581 fans. This is down 40% from the previous November, when they averaged 975 fans.
You have to wonder how long they can go on.

Wrestling just isn't "in" anymore. It's not that the shows suck or anything.

The live event attendance drop is scary. They put on some real good shows too. Maybe they should just do oversea tours (which when I went there were quite a few there) and maybe cut the house shows by half in the US.

I don't watch it anymore though. I flicked it on the other night when I was in bed and seen that Bobby Roode is looking like a face now and Aries a heel.

Aries is a natural heel.... Bobby... I think he's a great Tweener if he could find the right edge in his character for it.

As for the drop.... you hear it everywhere these days, but Orlando is a dead zone... Impact should go on the road, or back to the Asylum in Nashville... the audience there was atleast passionate. No offense to anyone living in Orlando, but much of the fans at Impact there are tapped out...

Are they showing British Boot Camp across the pond? It started over here the other night, they only have 4 contestants though. And they're already fighting and bickering. Seems decent though.

TNA has announced major changes to their pay-per-view schedule, drastically cutting back the number of live Sunday night pay-per-view events to only four.

The new “Sunday night live PPV” schedule is as follows:

* Genesis on January 13th
* Lockdown on March 10th
* Slammiversary on June 9
* Bound For Glory on October 13th.

In addition, seven Pay-Per-View specials that will be branded as “TNA Wrestling: One Night Only,” series will debut in April 2013 and continue throughout the year during the additional months.

The 3-hour taped Pay-Per-View specials will premiere on the first Friday of each month. The first two “One Night Only” specials will be “Joker’s Wild Tag Team Tournament” and “X-travaganza” which will feature the X-Division.

TNA President Dixie Carter issued the following statement regarding the changes:

“The Pay-Per-View industry has changed so much in the last decade. The traditional pay-per-view wrestling model needed to evolve and we believe this strategy will positively impact not only the Pay-Per-View events but the weekly television programming as well.”

The company will continue to produce TNA Wrestling’s “Unfinished Business”, which are one-hour programs available on a Video on Demand (VOD) basis. The monthly titles continue to focus on the history of a rivalry or a specific past PPV event. These titles are available for two months at a time.
Your turn, WWE....

I'm glad they are going to the Big 4 style... though I think 5 would be appropriate. I do feel the special taped PPV's would be better suited to a tv airing, ala Clash of the Champions used to be on TBS. It can't hurt the bottom line to give a free PPV event on tv every few months...Spike could air them on a Wednesday or Saturday night... but I'm glad to see someone buck the PPV system since they are pricey and over-saturated...
