I wanted to ask these questions of those in the US who have ordered steelbooks from FNAC in the past:

Do you typically have to pay any additional import/customs fees at the post office to receive their packages or is this all covered in their default "international shipping"?

Also, if one places an order with them and it hasn't shipped yet, do they allow you to cancel the order or are they like Zavvi where for in-stock items they completely lock you into the purchase and you can't cancel?

How fast do they refund you if you use PayPal and cancel?

Thanks to anyone who can help!
There is no import tax in the U.S. for items below $2500.00

Question Amazon France & Germany no longer shipping to the UK?

Recently I have noticed that Amazon France and Germany show releases to be out of stock for me in the UK, if I switch to a VPN they show up as in stock, but when I then go to buy it says it cannot be shipped to my address, I think something has happened and they won't ship to the UK anymore.

I wonder if it's certain IP addresses?
I've ordered recently through Amazon US, Germany, Italy and had no issues.

I know an Australian retailer has stopped shipping to UK because of the new VAT situation.

In regards to Amazon USA
If you based in UK

UK customers can pre order from Amazon USA website but once USA release date arrives you need to use Amazon Global USA Shop on Amazon UK instead
The seller on Amazon UK website is Amazon USA

USA listings on Amazon UK won't be live to order until after USA release date

If you want to order a USA release after release date it will be live then on Amazon UK website
The seller will be listed as Amazon US and Shipped by Amazon US (as in shipped from USA)
Price will be in UK pounds with free shipping and UK Vat included in price
You also likely end up paying lot less than if you done a pre order on Amazon USA website

Once USA release date arrives you won't be able to use Amazon USA website you need to use Amazon USA Global store on Amazon UK instead
If you not noticed already most upcoming USA releases are already listed on Amazon UK website but showing as not available that will change to available to order once USA release date arrives and in stock with Amazon USA

In regards to Germany releases after release date in Germany you will also see a lot of these on Amazon UK with the seller been Amazon EU

You may see USA and Germany upcoming releases listed on Amazon UK before release date but won't be live to order until release date or after

I haven't had any trouble ordering from Germany & France to the UK, as long as it's Amazon that's selling the item & not a Marketplace seller.

I gave up ordering from Amazon.com years ago, when the p&p costs to the UK became well & truly bonkers.

Hello everyone,

We have said for a while that we have some big news coming and we want to share what we can with you today.*

Back in December of 2020, we were approached with a huge business opportunity and have been in negotiations since, which have now come to a head and as a result,*EverythingBlu*as a brand will come to an end extremely soon. However, this is not the end of the team who brought you*EverythingBlu*and hope you can soon recognise us in our new form next year.*

Any outstanding orders are safe and our support email will be open longer than the store of course so we can still be contacted if needed.

This will be the last chance to purchase any of our in stock products directly from us*so if you wish to place an order, please do so as soon as you can to avoid any disappointment.*

Lastly, we wanted to say a huge thank you to all the support that we have received
EverythingBlu and our new opportunity would not have been possible without you!

You also should of got another email on October 22
That the store will close on Sunday October 24th

This was the email on October 22
Hello everyone,

It is the last weekend for the opportunity to purchase our last few remaining releases directly with us! We will close the store this Sunday 24th.

Our support@everythingblu.co.uk email will still be open of course so communication with us will still continue!

We have had a huge influx of orders so please beware, orders may take a little longer than usual to ship.

Once again, thank you all for your support!

EverythingBlu

The email clearly told you next year
It's not 2022 yet
You will just have to wait until next year for details of the new business venture they getting involved in
The details are private until announced.
EverythingBlu as a brand is finished there is no stock left.

They sold all remaining stock to customers who ordered from their website just before the shop closed

You can try placing it in a zip lock storage bag with a dryer fabric softener sheet. I've done that for other items and it seemed to have worked. Worth a try.

Thanks, I’ll give it a shot. I think I’m going to have to stop buying from Reddit after my recent experiences. The selection in the trading forum here leaves a lot to be desired. eBay it is, I suppose

Is there any quality differences on the discs in this steelbook when compared to the discs in the decade old amaray?

I feel like someone mentioned improvements somewhere but I've been unable to find anything concrete.

So, I have a few steelbooks that I want to sell off, I dont want to rip anyone off, but I also dont want to undersell myself. How much do steelbooks go for? These are out of prints and nothing recent.

My suggestion is to check eBay and compare against what others are asking.
