I wholeheartedly agree about Crosby and Midkiff, but I thought Gwynne was the highlight of the movie.

P.S.: IT's coming out soon.

Happy to see It will be well over two hours long. I was worried they'd cut it down a lot. Now the eerie potential build up I'm hoping for has a very good chance of occurring. On a side note has anyone read King's "Cycle of the Werewolf" novella? Loved the movie Silver Bullet.

You bet. I love Cycle of the Werewolf, and I love the movie, Silver Bullet.

I have many fond memories of watching Silver Bullet on VHS tape after a friend dubbed it from HBO for me back in the 1980s. I won't go so far as to say that it's a great flick, but it does hit the sweet spot with my nostalgia for that decade.

As far as IT is concerned, as long as they have the flying leeches scene I will be happy. And no teal or washed-out grey tint bullsh-t.

Wait a minute...

I know some knights that WON'T be seeing it.

There isn't any news. When there is, people will post updates. Most threads in this entire forum deviate from the topic slightly occasionally.

I love Silver Bullet. It's not a great movie by any means, but it's one of the most watchable second-tier King adaptations. The dynamic between Gary Busey, Megan Follows & Corey Haim gives it real juice.

I for one have and always will consider Pet Sematary to be one of the best and most well made horror films ever made. Haven't read the book yet but the film is great IMO. I don't compare the books to the films though as I consider them separate from each other.

Well I would imagine so, especially if you haven't read them.

Just the opposite for me. Book was amazing the film was meh... King's 70's book were by far his best works along with his short stories. For the most part his books were going downhill starting with Cujo. It was pretty good but not in his best work, Tommy Knockers was Meh....I actually liked the Book Needful Things although the film was mediocre. Pretty much stopped reading his stuff in the 90's. Like Koontz his ideas were running out and he got lazy.
