Smart move by TNA. WWE needs to do the same thing. The 4 Main PPV's are all that matters.

Once the buys really start dropping, more than they already have, the E will revisit the issue but at 13 ppv's a year it's excessive. Not every family or hardcore wrestling fan wants to cough up $50+ every month for what's 9 iffy PPV's a year... It'll catch up at some point. TNA did it partly for money and partly for storylines and the ability to travel for their ppv's.... I've been watching since the weekly PPV days at the Asylum.... now THAT was a crowd!

The Asylum crowd = almost as good as the ECW Philly crowd.

WWE doesn't have the talent pool or creative team to carry 12/13 PPVs a year anymore. That's why most of them feel like just another Raw show.

I think I'll start watching TNA again now. Sounds like a decent move.

WWE fired Trent Beretta. He'll end up in TNA's X-Division.

That is not the problem at all. The problem is every Raw is run like a ppv and that makes the ppv feel like another raw. Last Monday we had
Cena vs Ziggler (could main event a major ppv)
Team Hell No vs Rhodes Scholars (2 Best tag teams in WWE)
Women's title match
Wade Barrett vs Santino (could have been for IC title if ppv)
Sheamus match
Randy Orton match
Big Show vs Kofi Kingston
CM Punk vs Ryback TLC title match

That is 8 solid matches, 2 of them for the title, and most of their major superstars featured in a match. That is what a PPV should be. Most of the ppvs last year featured the same combination of matches that you would see on Raw and since they had CM Punks boring predictable title reign it left no doubt how the show would end.

Cena vs. Ziggler from RAW was easily the match of the year.

Not a bad shock imo. Bridesmaids were gorgeous.

Doesn't look like it. Last night was the first time I've seen her in a while. It just look like a different hair do and color

My bad. I figured everyone watched it by now. I should have waited 24 hours.

Anyway, Tazz joining is lame. It`s a nice swerve but he is a RETIRED ANNOUNCER... It`s useless. Now had Bully Ray joined and turned on Brooke and everyone... that would have made sense.

He's still an excellent speaker and high profile face for Aces and Eights. I think it's a good move and if he wants to, he can wrestle but he'd need to get in wrestling shape again. I did love his reveal when I saw it. Very classy and surreal.... "Is it hot in here or is it just me?" revealing his vest to the crowd first and then the rest of us....

He is a good talker BUT what happens when the A&E angle is over?, will TNA pull a Michael Cole?
