Sorry it's been a super busy month so far. Here are the pics of the packaging.

I'm having deja vu because this looks similar to the 4 film packaging years ago. Aside from that, the Digital HD Copy is only UltraViolet and there's two sections per movie to accomodate the 4K and 1080p Blu-Ray respectively. Speaking of the latter, the bad news it's the EXACT SAME 2011 BLU-RAYNOT SURPRISED but was so willing to be proven wrong. As someone who has yet to own a 4K set and was looking forward to a remastered experience on standard Blu-Ray, I am very disappointed with this.

Guess I'll just have to stick with watching Jurassic Park 3D via my PSVR headset 'til then ...

That really does look extremely similar to the previous digipack released for the blu-ray set few years ago except for the outer covers. Not surprised as Universal pretty much repackages whatever they have left and can't sell smh. I actually didn't know about this until you mentioned it, but is there a difference between the 2011 blu-rays compared to the blu-rays that were released individually in 2013? I thought the individual releases that I bought back in 2013 were the same discs from the 2011 digipack...just packaged in individual cases.

Here's a comparison between the 2011 and 2013 discs.

To me, the 2011 transfer looks the best. It looks more natural and film like.

Should I get the box set now, or wait until JW:FK is included?

In terms of dinosaur movies, no way. Try watching Theodore Rex and Tammy and the T-Rex.

I don't think I'll cancel my pre-order, considering that after selling the codes, I'll only be paying about $5 per movie. HOWEVER, I was hoping for four individual cases.

I'll just have to rebuy when/if these get individual releases, and sell this set.

That video is a bit misleading as only the 3D version featured the new transfer, all 2D releases since 2011 have used the exact same discs.

Yep, and their reasoning for it, being "since it's the first female death in the series, we wanted to make it more spectacular!" is so freakin' stupid.

Is there now a threat level code of how brutally one should get eaten by dinosaurs in these movies?

I thought you wanted to wait until there was a box set containing all six films?

I can’t make up my mind. I want to buy these movies in 4K sooner than later, but at the same time, I like consistency in packaging.

At $12.50 per movie, and being able to sell the codes for $5-$7 per movie, bringing your cost down to $5.50-$7.50 for each 4k disc, why not?

But the photos show just one slip with four codes. How can I sell them?

You sell the code as a set for $20-25 I’ve done that for other sets

50 bucks for 4 movies on 4K plus $15 movie cash for JW2?

That's a sweet freaking deal!
