I don't have many Criterion titles, but of the ones I have, only Seven Samurai is still in the cardboard packaging. Criterion doesn't have a replacement case for it yet. So I scanned the slipcase and the inside of the digipak and came up with these.

Side by side comparison.

I couldn't decide which one to use, so I placed the one from the inside of the digipak on the inside of the case.

Still need to tweak it as the spines are a little off.

I've been waiting for this to come out on Blu-ray , and I'm still waiting

and since the current DVD cover is horrible
I don't have high hopes

This is still a WIP. Still need to fill in a few sections. I am taking a trip so i will finish it when i come back. any suggestions? different colors??

Any wonderful artist planning on doing "A Hard Days Night" Criterion cover? One using the original Album art would be pretty darn cool.

I've been futzing around with a few ideas for a while this evening. This is what I've got so far. Not too sure about it. Thoughts?

EDIT: I changed the light gray on the back to white. I think the front, spine and back flow a bit better now...

EDIT again...

Cover was a little too crowded. I'm beginning to like this a little more...

yes I agree I like the bottom one the best as its less crowded. The British Flag on the spine in excellent! I think you almost got it!

If nothing else, these last couple of posts show how a design evolves. For what I'm thinking will be the last iteration, the dot border on the front had to go. It was just out of place. I think I'll finish the back and call it real...

Hey guys. I probably haven't search that much but does any of you have a good cover for every Matrix Movie. I got the matrix triology from England and the European case's are very fat and i find the covers for all three movie really bland. Does any of you have a link for good cover or made one i could use. Thanks.

I've been doing some rethinking on my Cap cover. I've been trying to properly frame the IMAX poster for a slipcover but its composition didn't really seem right for the dimensions, so I decided to do a custom composition. Here's what I have so far:

I'm going to plead exhaustion. I skimmed this post last night and instead of "original album art", I thought "original one sheet art" and that is what I was working on last night.

Is this something like what you were thinking...

BTW, not to toot any horns here, but if one has an eye for that sort of thing, a close look at my cover compared to the album cover will see how much work that was. Just sayin'...

Wow....very nice. I like them both! The Album cover is very interesting but the Union Jack and spine title might stand out a little better on the "One Sheet" version, which will also be an ink saver. I really do like them both but lean towards your poster version. Which do you prefer?
