Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
The wicked Queen is struck by lightning, falls off a cliff, is crushed by boulders and rocks and then eaten by vultures.

There are a couple... there's the opening of Jisaatsu Saakaru when 54 schoolgirls hold hands and jumps in front of a moving train, and the train's breaks can't work because it's sliding on all the blood.

Also, the TV station death in Chakushin Ari with all the bodily contortions and the head that twists itself off.

YES! I can't believe I didn't think of that. The first movie during both 'party' scenes was disturbing as h*ll!!

One of my favorite scenes is in the second movie when the guy in prison wishes for his 'lawyer to go f*ck himself' and it actually happens. I'm sure that made a lot of guys cringe but I was dying laughing

One death scene that comes to mind is in "we were soldiers" after they announce broken arrow, and one of the bombs lands near Mel Gibson's camp...well the one part when they try to get the badly burned victim on to the chopper....

You mean when he had a flare stuck to his face and they had to knife his cheek off?

The Black Hole (1979).

Dr Durant (Anthony Perkins) getting literally bored out by a psychotic robot (Maximillian), his corpse then getting fried as it falls into a power grid... That was pretty original.

The ending to There Will Be Blood. The Bowling Pin scene. Even though you couldn't see it. The way it sounded.

I just remembered "The Untouchables" where the guy gets his head pummeled by Al Capone at the table by a baseball bat. It was quite shocking at the time, and quite incongruous given the posh setting of the scene.

Can't go wrong with the "Final Destination" films, with all those bizzare accidents. One that I particuarly thought was wicked was in the second film,
[Show spoiler]when the barbed-wire fence tore through that one guy.
Yikes.

To this day, though, the plane crash scene in the first film really freaks me out.

All these cut in half reminds me of Die Hard 3 when the cable whips and cuts the bad guy in half... I remember thinking about that... yuck.

The stabbing scene in Zodiac is definitely a well-crafted and simple death scene.[/QUOTE]

What adds to that scene is that it really happened that way. The guy Bryan Hartnell is alive to this day (in fact he was also an advisor in shooting that scene) but the girl Cecelia Shepard died a couple days later. (Im a Zodiac nut. Love the movie too.)
