I hope so, even though it wasn't shot in native 3D, the post production optimizing was extensive to say the least, check out the number of folk who undertook the project in the end credits.

Fox is the only studio other then Dreamworks to never release a single retail 3D release. So its up in the air whether this will be there first

There is general discussion about whether it will be released posted here:
https://forum.blu-ray.com/3d-blu-ray...ml#post4664357

And user: TGReaper posted these screen pix of the main menu from a "Review Copy"

By the way, Where did you buy this 3D Blu-ray?
Do you have a better close up photo of what the printing says?
Does it have any printing on the back that say's it's an exclusive with like Sony, Panansonic, or something like that?
What does the disc look like?

...and most importantly
Why does it look like a copy printed cover? There doesn't seem to be any color on that cover.

I originally though 'fake' because I wasnt sure any of my existing discs had the 3D logo on the case, as well as the top band, as well as in the title of the movie. 3 places seems a bit overkill. But then I checked my discs and the Last Airbender release is this same way. Perhaps this release will pop up as an exclusive somewhere as well? Did anyone else find any other covers that have all three?

I really hope the release is real and we all get copies soon!

My Legends Of The Guardian has the same crappy 3D logo case. I think it may be legit. Fingers crossed.

this looks tremendous in depth great 3D conversion but now for the downside. The movie has NO pop out effects. NONE

For a 3D movie to be perfect there need to be pop out effects also.

Come one hollywood studios get it in your brain we doesn't just want good depth we also want pop out is it so hard to do both for a movie

I thought it had a few popout moments with the mermaids and other stuff.

Sony exclusive, eh? Hmmm. Lucky for the Sony folks I guess. A bit disappointing for me personally, but hopefully the exclusive window will be a short one.

I'd like it better if it came with a BD-player (as they've done in France).

Not sure about that. The two glasses in that bundle without the movie cost $140. So essentially they want $50 for that movie. Fairly ridiculous compared to the Samsung/Panasonic bundles which usually are/were not more expensive than buying two glasses separately (at least, that was the case before Samsung dropped the price of their entry-level glasses).

A female co-worker said she picked up a 42 inch Sony 3D TV from Best Buy. She said they threw in three 3D Blu Ray movies, Beauty & The Beast, Cinderella & Shrek. I know B&TB is coming out this fall and Shrek 4 is an exculsive so how can this be true?

I have a few questions though, hope someone can help me out. The glasses are compatible with previous Sony 3D tvs, right? And also, if anyone knows whether the movie is region free or not, that would be great!

She probably isn't telling the truth. Shrek can only be bought as a Samsung, Cinderella is not on Blu-ray or DVD in any stores at the moment, and Beauty doesn't come out until the fall. And to nitpick, Sony makes 40" and 46" not 42. Samsung makes a 43", Panasonic and LG make 42"s. As an employee at best buy we are not allowed to "throw in" Anything for free unless it is a package offered by the retailer.
