Nope, it doesn't. While the critical reception has been mixed and the ratings have been fairly low, this is the final season because Aaron Sorkin said it would be his last. It took this long before anything was announced about a third season because Sorkin was working on other projects and deciding if he wanted to do a third. HBO doesn't want to do the show without him, so they're letting him wrap the story up on his own terms. If he had said he was open to being involved with further seasons, HBO wouldn't have already announced this as the final one.

Amazing seeing multiple HBO titles coming back into print after the crash-and-burn of HBO Max/Max/HBO Max.

They put almost their entire library OOP on physical media when HBO Max first launched. Glad to see them admitting their mistake there.

The performances are great all the way around (especially Jeff Daniels), but the show itself never reaches the heights it strives for. I liked it, though.
