This really is a great show! I still don't understand why most people didn't seem to like it.

People on the Repub side got very upset when he attacked the GOP and the Tea Party. LOL, of course, by "attacked," I mean he told the truth about them. Even here in California, there are are a few areas that are very heavy Republican. Orange Country/San Diego is one area...San Jose is another. And they really - I mean, REALLY - hate Dems and the President.

FINALLY!!

I loved this show. The first few episodes I wasn't too sure about it - it was just a lot of people yelling at each other. But then it found its stride and I loved it. It has the classic Sorkin banter and the storylines are dramatic yet fun. Can't wait for season two!

Me, either. 10 shows wasn't enough, and waiting untril June 2013 for the second season is unbearable.

The getting Osama bin Laden show was great, as was the one where he called the Tea Party "the American Taliban."

I still don't care much for Emily Mortimer and the whole triangle with Jeff Daniels and the other guy. But I have really grown to like Olivia Munn and Kelen Coleman. But most of all, I love how Sorkin can just dazzle me with his writing. Best writer of his kind since Norman Corwin.

I have already watched the whole first season twice on HBO.

Are you also a fan of "The West Wing"? If you haven't seen them, check out "Sports Night" and "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip".

Munn is fun on this show. and I'm pretty much in love with Kelen Coleman.

I was disappointed in the casting of Mortimer. Marisa Tomei was originally cast in the role, and I think she would have been great. Mortimer is ok, and has grown on me a bit, but I can't help thinking how Tomei would have done.

I didn't know that about Maris Tomei! I love her! You're right, she would have been SO MUCH BETTER!!!

I started to like the Allison Pill character, but like the actress's last name, she has turned out to be a real pill.

I keep seeing her in random tv commercials, and I'm like "Kelen Coleman!" and everyone around me is like, "huh? Why do you know random commercial actresses?"

Can't wait. I loved this show. Extremely well written and acted.

The whole American Taliban thing was so spot on.

Yes, only ten. That would be $7 an episode. They will have to bring it down. I'm sure that initial price is a mistake.

Waiting 7 more months for the next ones to be aired is hard!

Had a blast watching Newsroom this past summer (and because of it, watched Broadcast News). Not likely to pick this up since I don't generally buy television shows, but anyone who hasn't seen this show should give it a chance.

All HBO Drama Blu-rays MSRP for $79.99. But they never sell that high. Most lately have been $34.99 on release week.

Can't believe this still doesn't have a release date. I really thought this would have been released prior to Christmas.

TV seasons often release just prior to the new season, in order to raise awareness and interest. So I would imagine we'll see this in mid-to-late spring, prior to season two's summer debut.

I wonder what next season's shows will be like? Sorkin is still at the head, but he fired the writers from the first season.

Hope it is as hard-hitting as the first ten shows were. I wonder if he would have gotten pressure from the network if the election had gone the other way? Thank heavens, it didn't!

I really liked the way they went back about two years and used real news items to tell the stories. To me, that is the meat of the show, and he should spend more time on that instead of the shrill breakdowns of news producer McKenzie McHale (Emily Mortimer).
