It's hard to believe they would cancel orders that were already placed for just 4 quid (is that how you say it). I can see them restricting their use on future orders. It's not that much.

I wouldn't worry about it, this is the same customer service that tells people things don't exist when they are actually listed on their site.

It actually worked out in my favour to cancel the existing order, I had 'rewardz' points or whatever they're called that I didn't know about. So I ordered one more copy and used the points to bring it down to almost £20, and put a request through Flubit (a great price-match site) and they managed to get me another copy for almost £20. So I'm still getting two copies and saving a few quid without worrying about the discount code affecting anything!

Awesome steelbook. One of my favorite Disney movies. Already pre-order it but might cancel it. Undecided. The same with The Jungle Book. Have a feeling that the US release will have at least one or two new bonus features not offer on this set.

Good thing I'm not a hardcore steelbook collector.

The release date seems to be changed to 30th September according to Zavvi's page! Just a heads up. Now it'll be released alongside the US release.

Which helps us in the states who preordered it...if by chance the USA gets one, we'll have time to cancel the Zavvi preorder and pick it up here--because obviously it will be advertised some time before the release. I'm assuming of course.

once the order is placed they can't make no changes. I rember when I had roger rabbit on order I had got a new credit card and asked if they could update the card on the order and they said there is no way to change it once the order was placed so I was stuck keep the old card I had active for 2 months till roger rabbit finaly shipped out. because it was already sold out and I couldnt make it a new order.

Yup... with Zavvi it has to be right the first time or the order needs to be cancelled. It's not like Amazon! Zavvi can't/won't even adjust a pre-order price to reflect their new lower advertised price!

I've become so spoiled with Amazon, in this regard. It's good that the smaller guys make us work with our orders...keeps us in shape!

Maybe that has changed then. I'm still waiting on my first orders to be fulfilled. I remember hearing other members say that the pricing thing was ignored and/or unable to adjust pricing after order had been placed.

Even then, I would keep checking your orders to see if pricing is adjusted. Some companies could easily take advantage of people who pre-order and forget about it until it arrives. They'd never know that there was a lower price anyhow.
