Unbelievably sad news. Even harder to process because Conroy kept doing events, cons, interviews and documentaries as well so it doesn’t quite feel like he’s gone.
I must admit the news hit me hard. What an icon and a truly wonderful person.

This one stings.

I only got to meet him once, at a Warner Bros. Store signing back in 1998 when I was in college. It was so awesome standing in line and hearing him in the distance repeating Batman lines for fans.

He was great in other dramatic and comedic roles I'd seen him in, but of course he'll always be Batman. What a legacy.

It was cool see him play Bruce Wayne in live action on one of the cw shows even if it was a version I wish they didn’t write him as a villainous version of the character. Still it just proves he could play him as a older Bruce Wayne without just being the voice he was perfect. I would have loved to have seen a proper version of him in person physically playing the character man what could have been.
