Great selection of films.

Speaking of the Thing. Saw this recently. Would have loved this as a cover for a Blu-ray of the film.

Not me... not enough floating heads for my liking.

Don't all be too hasty for a UHD release. When done right its great - I am still enjoying the UHD of Alien. But then I also got the cheapy rushed UHD of The Fog and my eyes still have not recovered from that atrocity of a disk. I am not obsessive about sound and picture and appreciate each release of an old movies take with things like colour etc. But The Fog was a mess from beginning to end and looked worse than an upscaled DVD. Shame because its a guilty pleasure of mine. Especially at Halloween.

If the UHD of AAWIL isn't done with care and some investment it could be just as bad.

An American Werewolf in London is definitely in my top ten. Unfortunately, the deleted footage seems to M.I.A. Would love to see an extended cut of the film.
ALIEN is my number 4

I like the artwork but for an outer Arrow Box.. As long as I can have the original artwork on the Blu ray case itself I would be cool with it

That's a bit hyperbolic.

That’s way too spoilerish for my taste.

Yeah this was the magic with original artworks. They sparked the interest enough to get you to want to see it but they left it up to your imagination as to what's in the film.

I would even argue that this new painting for AAWWIL very spoilerish and will be very unfortunate for the supposed “new generation that this disc will be the definitive release for.” Because it spoils it right away

All of these recent head collage posters are either meh or excellent execution-wise, but the thing they all have in common is a blatant on the nose nod to Drew Struzan. It's either what the studios want or something these artists can't shy away from. One after the other is all like "hey, remember the Star Wars posters Struzan did? Well HEY..." And what's ironic is Struzan is MORE than floating heads. It's always those particular posters, namely his Star Wars ones that get called back to so often.

Not knockin them, just an observation.

Haven't you heard? The new generation don't buy blu-rays. Especially boutique labels. They stream on their phones.

I think it's a stretch to call this cover spoilerish. The name of the film is "An American Werewolf in London". Seeing someone change into a werewolf should hardly be considered a spoiler. Folks new to the film may pick up on the fact that this is one of the leads, (then again maybe not) but again... is that really spoilerish? This isn't a mystery, the werewolf is the reason people are tuning in so knowing someone is going to change into one shouldn't be surprising. I'd argue the most surprising thing about the film is the humor and dream sequences as those down right shocked me the first time I saw the film as I was not expecting either from this kind of film and neither of those aspects are ruined by the cover.

How many units is this “limited” to?
