It’s still early July but that window is closing fast. Hopefully they give us some kind of update. I haven’t started having Dorado flashbacks or traumas yet so they are still somewhat good.

Anatomia Extinction arrived today. Safely packaged, and the set looks nice. It may be a few days before I can check the disc out, but I'm glad to have this in hand.

Mine arrived just now too! It's a fantastic first release, and I'm super hopeful to see what they conjure up for the next release, but I am going to be overly critical and nitpicky here regarding the packaging just in case they read these forums so they can improve things. Once again, I really like this release and implore anyone who enjoys Asian cinema to check it out.

• Slip is flat without any embossing, texturing, or spot gloss. I didn't expect it to be anything else but I would love for standout future releases to get more deluxe finishes.
• The back of the cover, where all the special features are listed, is very difficult to read. Some larger print would go a long way to fix that up, as it's currently nearly impossible to make out the Error_4444 and region logos.
• The art cards are tiny. I guess I was expecting something more like a postcard size, and it's definitely something that would have benefitted how cool this new art looks.
• The booklet is ever so slightly too big to fit into the case. You can see in my photo that the bottom right corner of the booklet is bent, and that's not because of carelessness, but rather because it is mere millimeters too wide for the case.
• One page of the booklet is just completely black, with no image or text on it. Maybe I'm missing something and it was intentional for some reason.

Now, here are the things I absolutely LOVE:

• Clear Elite case!
• Spine of the slipcover and case contain both the E4444 logo and a numbering, so I assume these will look beautifully uniform in a lineup together.
• Two different choices for case artwork, and neither of them are the same as the slipcover, so that is very appreciated.
• Shipping was in a box with plenty of wrapping paper to keep everything safe, and only $5 for first class service.
• All the art is printed cleanly and crisply. I don't see any low resolution issues here.

I'll be checking out the disc contents later tonight and reporting back. For now, here are a few images of what it looks like:

Thank you for the early review. The print on the back is going to be the biggest problem for me. I'll have to see it in person, but it does look tiny. Hopefully they can get that straightened out for their releases going forward...
