Thanks, I know the Disney fans have mentioned in other threads that all of the animated movies have already been scanned at 4K a long time ago - and I'm not sure whether any of the films from Rescuers Down Under onwards needs any scans since they were digital - but if they were preparing a release, would your sources know? Since there have been complaints about how some of them were mastered years ago.

Also for example the Disney Movie Club exclusives which are all on Blu. Not sure whether those are restored already or just being old masters pulled out to create sets - how long does that take/cost and would you hear about it?

It should be the same department doing that as the UHDs right? Prepping for release.

If the Disney Bad Quality US Slip or No Slip at all -Saga continues I will wait for a UK release again like with Speed.

Look at that. A catalog title from Disney that is not animated, is live action, and adult. Who woulda thunk? 😄

Does that version have any special features that isn't going to be on the 4K?

But adult superheroes. So it's not really kid friendly.

Tell that to all of the parents who brought their under-12 kids to see Watchmen and the Deadpool movies...

I'm sure it's the same parents that let them stare at TikTok or some other screen based I.Q. reducing program.

OMG!!! I went to Logan on opening night on Friday and you wouldn't believe it. As I was exiting the theater there were kids 12 years or younger coming out crying. Probably from being so traumatized by all the violence. That'll scar a kid for life. Maybe next time the parents will think before going to an R rated with their young kids. I doubt it though. They think of movies these days as babysitters. Some people shouldn't be allowed to have kids.

Oh yes. Each new generation gets dumber and dumber as the years pass on. The ones on twitter are especially dumb. Some on there actually think that a musical artist today with "sales" over 10 million on an album is more successful than legends or artists who had sales exceeding more than 10 million on an album back in the 80's and 90's. It's laughable, really.

Doesn't look like it. The DVD had a multi angle/multi audio extra that looks like it's just gonna be a storyboard comparison now though.

That seems like a rather arbitrary position to take given what leads to an R rating and what gets in under the PG-13 banner. Does that mean you won't allow your kids to see the matrix or saving private ryan until they are 17+?

There was:

Would the 4K transfer of The Omen by any chance be the same transfer that's on the Shout Factory BD?

Possibly, but I’ll definitely wait until they are at least 14-15.
