Called Walmart got two people with 2 different excuses one swore it wasn’t releasing till next year the other said they were sold out so my preorder from July didn’t mean anything . Ended up finding a store with some for pickup and once I had it in hand I canceled my preorder that at that point still never moved. Highly suggest if u can get it in store do it otherwise you may never get it

A local Walmart had 5 on an endcap along with the one I got for Curbside Pickup. I only ordered it because there was no movement on the order I placed back when it first went up for preorder. Before I get home, I get an email that it had shipped. You couldn't plan it any funnier.

My Twisters steelbook now says "Preorder, Arrives by October 21st & I can no longer make changes to it.

My Beetlejuice Beetlejuice steelbook should be fine since it has the correct release date of November 19th but the standard 4K that I also ordered has a release date of September 1st 2025.

Received both my Twisters and Wolverine edition steelbook from Walmart today via FedEx.

My preorder changed to Delayed yesterday so I cancelled and placed a Curbside Pickup order. Have it in hand now. They had only one left so I am happy. That being said: What the heck, Wal-mart? Fix your preorder process already!

I ordered online because no one stocks UHD let alone Steelbooks in store anymore and now here we are cancelling online orders and buying in store or doing pickup orders, oh the irony!

My second store pick up order I placed last night came back as “out of stock” this morning but was offered to ship free. I clicked that option, and it has already shipped. The first pick up order I placed yesterday did not offer free shipping when it was out of stock, so I had to cancel.

Meanwhile my original pre-order from July is still delayed.

Was somewhat surprised to see like 8 copies of the steel and a bunch of slips at my locall Walmart tonight so snagged the steel. Surprised because a few months ago they seemed to start really diving into physical media and added a bunch, then they shut down the electronics dept for remodel along with a bunch of other areas of the store then when they were done they now only have a single endcap for movies and that's it.

They put up preorders with the wrong release dates & don't change people's order status with the correct release dates when it's decided. Walmart pretty much sabotage people's orders by things the way they do.
