I'd like to see the art before I decide if I want the steelbook. As usual, I expect the price to drop at some point in the next day or so.

Once the price goes down, I'm going for this. I really like that art. Again, I expect the price to drop in a day or so. It usually does.

some consistency would be nice but I know thats asking a lot

I didn't feel it, so I'm not going to chase it. Going with the standard on this one.

It wasn't a bad movie, it just felt like it could decide at points if it wanted to be a followup to the original Twister, it's own movie, or something in between. So all of the hooks that felt like it was going to give a payoff to the original were in there...but there wasn't any payoff for them.

Plus, the original had a kind of perfect storm (no pun intended) in terms of writing (Michael Crichton, co wrote) cast, soundtrack, and so on. While it captures the effects side brilliantly, and the science/tech talk as well...that "it factor" that made the original such a great film almost 20 years on just isn't there.

It earned a place on the shelf, but Twister will get more watch time.

I'm sure the regular 4K of Twisters in the US will just have the 4K disc only like the first movie.

Universal is putting this out, not Warner like the first movie, so almost a guarantee it’ll be a combo pack, they have not really shifted to that 4K only type release like some other companies.
