It's only the teaser trailer, it's not the full trailer. Wait until the theatrical trailer is released in April 2013 or May 2013, before The Lone Ranger movies theatrical July 2013 release to theaters. It's bound to show much more from the movie, then what we see from the recently released teaser trailer for The Lone Ranger movie.

The trailer is good, but not great in my opinion. Still looks like it could, in the very least, turn out to be an above average couple of hours of entertainment.

You can't expect much from a teaser. These just exist to announce that there is a movie. Not to actually show what it's like or about. I think it offered a lot of footage for a mere teaser.

Well there are teaser trailers for movies that get released, that do show quite a bit of footage from them.

I agree that teaser trailers are nothing to judge the whole film on, but they could have done something a lot more creative with it - think about the Prometheus teaser, done in the style of the old Alien one. Absolutely breath-taking and I wanted to watch it over and over again. With this, watching it once was enough.

What month would The Lone Ranger most likely be released on BD, after its theatrical release on July 3rd 2013 ? In November 2013, December 2013, January 2014 or February 2014 ?

Umm...well.....er...........THAT opening just returns to those thrilling days of yesteryear.

But then, that is the Australian trailer, which could explain a lot.
(Insert further "Gore is just too damn weirdo, Disney, quit giving him $200M to make Pirate movies, or you're going to get another 3!" joke here.)

As for the ending gag, I think I now understand why that marketing survey was asking me whether I'd seen "Shanghai Noon".

It's more "off kilter" than I would have liked but I can't deny that I like what I see.

Can't say that I like Depp's "Native American speech pattern." However, that trailer offers me plenty of hope that it will at least be a fun ride.

I feel the same way, he just doesn't sound right.

But the movie looks really good.

I believe there will be some Native American backlash toward Johnny Depp. Someone will get pissed off for sure.

The movie looks pretty good. Looks like it would be a great home theater type of movie too. All the facepaint looks similar on Depp to how he looked in the Pirates of the Caribbean, but looks like a fun type of summer movie.

The only reason the Australian link was posted was because it was the only one uploaded at the time. But it's exactly the same as the American one.

Honestly, I think the trailer looks kinda...eh.

I was excited for this one, but the new trailer isn't really doing it for me. I'm actually a little bummed out. Hopefully there's another trailer that will make me more excited for it later...
