Which X-men flick will you bring home and which one is your fave?

-X3 had the best action of the trilogy.
-The political/ethical situation involving the cure is perfectly in line with the first two films.
-Kelsey Grammar as Beast

And for those who talk like so much damage was done in X3.

-Any of the cured mutants could theoretically get their powers back based on the final scene.
-Cyclops is ambiguously "killed" off-screen. Leaving the door open for him to return.
-Xavier transferred his consciousness to another body before being killed.

So what damage was really done? X3 provided a sense of closure to the trilogy, yet it does so in a way that isn't final. THAT I like. Particularly in regards to the handling of Magneto. This was very much Magneto's trilogy, and I knew something was going to have to happen to him at the end. We've already seen that a prison can't hold him for long, so I assumed they were probably going to kill Magneto in the end. When he was cured I was pleasantly surprised. Yes it sucked that he lost his powers, but at least they didn't cop out and kill him like is done with so many other villains. But then he moves that chess piece ever so slightly... and everyone cheered. It was the perfect way to end the trilogy. They stopped Magneto, he was no longer a major threat, but they gave us just enough to leave that "you never know" in the back of our mind.

I don't know why people vent so much hate for this movie, I'd like to know what they were expecting, and what they think could have been a better way to end the trilogy? Comic fanboys who cry about the Phoenix saga need not apply, it had no place in this movie universe.

I liked the 1st two the best, I was dissapointed with the third one but I will buy all three just ot complete the set.
