1.3 million skipping a episode to get to the final. That’s not attention span issues. Other reasons exist for that.

Vilya doing his best ‘Chemical Ali’ impression.

Steedeel applying his infamous pretzel logic by twisting a contested statistic into meaning something it does not.

The same scientists that declare things are bad and then good for you every few years? I will trust my own instinct thanks.

If it’s contested, how could that mean it’s not true? Absolute statements Vilya. Come on now.

Instinct is not a synonym for insanity. The latter is all that you are trusting.

I see you have broadened your loathing of facts that you dislike to include ALL scientists now. Way to double down on the dumbness there!

Yes, that was a clever burn; with a single rhetorical question you have dismissed all scientific endeavor. What an intellect!

If something is contested, that means it is not considered to be factual by all.

Contested:

"oppose (an action, decision, or theory) as mistaken or wrong."

"To call into question and take an active stand against; dispute or challenge"

"to make the subject of dispute, contention, or litigation"

from ye olde dictionary; take your pick.

Netflix themselves contested that figure; do you even read the articles that you post? Rather, you just jump straight to whatever whackadoodle fear bubbles up from your cracked noodle.

Who needs science when we have your more entertaining psychosis instead?

For you, likely so. That's very sad.

You keep on being scared, Steedeel. You make that choice every single time; you therefore must prefer it.

I intend to keep on being entertained, and not solely at your expense.

I have access to a vast amount of content, some on discs that I own and still more via streaming. I have it good and it's only going to get better!

I always just let the ad play, let the movie play for like 20 seconds and skip to the end and let the credits play a few seconds. I always get my code

Vudu typically sends out an email near the end of the month that says if you watch one of their soon to be ending "free with ads" movies that they will give you a $2 promotional credit.

These credits are usually only good for 30 days after you receive them, but because I have to email and complain to get my code, the credit that I finally receive is often good for one year.

I have no idea why I have trouble actually getting the credits, but I always do get them eventually, but not until I email their support. My always having to complain to get them to honor their promotions undermines my confidence in them.

Why is it that whenever I pluck up the courage (I'm a bit shy normally ) and I go over to the counter to ask for some, along comes a very attractive young lady in her early 20s to serve you.

I know what contested means, you said it not me. It could mean it’s true or false. So why then, say I’m wrong? (which you did at the end of your post)

Scientists have made some incredible breakthroughs, no one would dispute that. Their work is valuable, no one would dispute that. You cannot say though, that everything scientists write is set in stone. That’s just naive (again) Of you.
It’s a running joke in the U.K that certain food stuff are safe to eat one year then bad for you the next.

When it comes to attention spans, i have provided link after link of evidence. Our most popular sport for example. Football is too much of a chore to sit through for 90 minutes for our younger generation. The same younger generation that half watch tv while using tablets and phones. Go to any home with kids and you will see this scenario. It’s an established behaviour now. Some call it multitasking. I call it lack of attention.

Now, we have evidence that more than 1 million people skipped an entire episode to get to a final episode quicker. We can take my view (well known) or we can take your view that some strange cult suddenly decided to watch episode 7 on mobile having watched all other episodes on a TV set. Like 1.3 million people skipping the penultimate episode, lol. I know which one I believe.

But chemical Ali (aka Vilya) doesn't want to accept that his explanation is far more outlandish than mine in this case.

Yes you're right, this has gone on for years here. I sometimes wondered if the food/drinks manufacturers were in cahoots with the scientists in that if there was a surplus amount of something, they'd pay them to say it was good for you, and then get some tabloid newspaper to announce it. I've always held the opinion that any food in moderation is perfectly OK.

Scientists pursue the truth and when necessary they correct themselves as further research may reveal new information. Science never stops asking questions or seeking answers; their pursuit is endless and their relentless dedication is to their credit and to our benefit. It is a quality known as "integrity."

You peddle nothing but delusional fiction supported by nothing factual whatsoever. You take random pieces of trivia and make wholly bizarre conclusions from them. Inevitably, you then fabricate all of them into one of your patently absurd predictions about how that must hasten the end to:

movies and all long form content.

TVs themselves.

All aspect ratios except for those that are vertically oriented.

You even foresee vegans accelerating the death of TVs and all other similar displays.

Then there is your imaginary tax for sitting too long while watching that aforementioned doomed TV.

I guess it is a good thing that you believe your tripe about decreasing attention spans; it means people won't be able to grieve all of these coming losses for very long.

Unlike scientists, you never correct yourself; you ALWAYS double down on the stupidity and offer up still another unrelated piece of trivia as "proof" of any one or more of your above listed predictions.

The name Falsetradamus really, really fits you like a...; I was gonna say a glove, but strait jacket is more apt here.
