Some of you may recall that I often make covers for Twilight Time Blu-rays, mostly because their front covers are rarely as good as the original theatrical art. I was browsing my shelves and Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger caught my eye. I pulled it out and remembered I liked the art they used and thought it looked original. I opened up Movieposterdb.com and sure enough, it is original art for a nice change.
But wait, something is off. Oh man, they reversed the image! Even on the back, the picture of Sinbad with the sword appears to also be reversed (I don't think Patrick Wayne is a leftie). A couple of hours later... I remade the front from new elements, better quality I think, and made a new spine with my own touch on the title treatment. I also replaced the picture on the back for obvious reasons. I'm a lover, not a fighter. Ta-tas beat swords any day ![]() Available at EuphoricFX.com if you want it. I can also email if you PM me an email address. Last edited by Robert George; 10-08-2014 at 02:18 PM. |

Anyone wanna create a custom cover for X-Men Days of Future Past that matches the covers of the previous X-Men films? Target even did an exclusive cover of First Class to match, but now nothing
![]() I'd love you forever! |

WIP - I recently imported the 3D BD and wanted to combine it with the 2D version I already have. The purple border was recreated to mimic the gold version (which is the cover displayed on this site). I also recreated the content/disc listing to mimic an official Disney release and the rest of the back is from a template. Which do you prefer?

![]() Easily one of my favorite TV shows on right now. As good as the official artwork is for this is already, I want to make one that was more representative of the show as a whole. So I went with an old book style look (mostly for the front). The back looks a little more traditional though.
I may make a variant of this cover soon that's more simplified and without all the images on the back. EDIT: Changed the symbol on the front to the Horseman's head tattoo. As usual, PM me for download links. ![]() Last edited by BasedSPACER; 10-13-2014 at 03:55 AM. |

"OOOOk-lahoma, where the wind comes sweepin' down the plain..."
This was one of the most difficult covers for me. Almost no decent original elements. Probably why virtually every studio cover for the various video releases have sucked. I kept pluggin' and came up with this... Available at EuphoricFX.org or PM me an email address. |

A couple more I uploaded to EuphoricFX.org this morning...
A custom replacement for Twilight Time's The Dogs of War. Their cover does use somewhat original art, but they changed the title treatment. The main reason I did a custom was I found an interesting image that I wanted to integrate, so I changed up the layout of the back. Hope you like it... Next is a "v2" of my Oklahoma! cover for those that want a case for disc 1 and 2. CinemaScope specs are added. Lastly, the single disc cover I posted previously has been updated for correct specs. That has been fixed on EuphoricFX. |

So I have the opportunity to meet Ernie Hudson soon, and it's really really ticked me off (and disappointed him as well, I've heard) that he was never really credited enough for his role in the movies. He was on the Ghostbusters II poster, but he wasn't on I, and his name was never with the rest of the cast's.
I know this is a little weird, but for my third Blu-Ray project I'm attempting a dust cover for the GB 1&2 digibook, where Ernie Hudson gets the same credit as everyone else. Thought I might take one to get signed and take another for him. Put together the cover tonight. Relatively simple, I know, but I think it's looking good so far. As soon as I get rid of the weird line on the left, I think the cover will be mostly done. Then I'll do the spine, back, and inner flaps. I've never liked the simple blue or green designs of most the DVD and Blu releases anyway. I'd love to hear what you all think. ![]() |
