Does anyone know if the Canada version of Hogwart's collection is region free (or A+B) or not? Since it's on sale on Amazon CA I'd like to know ASAP thanks.

I'm 99% sure Warner Bros. never region lock anything, ever.

Okay cos the Amazon page says A, and the Blu-ray page says A (B, C untested). I'm fine with the DVDs being region locked but I need the Blu-rays to work on B. Anyone know for sure?

Only like 2 hrs 40 mins of the deal to go.

Ah I'll just get the UK version then. Amazon UK has much cheaper shipping so it doesn't work out too much more expensive anyways I guess.

Amazon has the regular 8-disc collection for ~$35, the Hogwarts collection for ~$90 and the Wizards collection for ~$130 today. Is the Wizards collection worth the extra $40 up from the Hogwarts collection? That box looks massive.

Wait, what? The Wizard's collection is back? I looked it up and it's true it's only US$129.49 Since when?

I thought it had gone out of print. It's like $1000 or something on the other amazons. The reason I was wanting to buy the Hogwarts collection is because I bought the Wizard's box a few years ago and never opened it, and I didn't want to when I felt like rewatching the films after Fantastic Beasts because I thought I'd keep it and sell it since it's worth so much and just get the much cheaper Hogwart's collection to do my rewatch.

So it's back? Since when? It's still a fortune on the other Amazon's. Now I'm not sure if I should still keep mine unopened. Ahh why'd this have to get even more complicated?

I had no clue either. I remember looking it up a year back and finding out it had been out of print for a while. Just saw the Harry Potter box set DOTD on Amazon today and was very surprised to see the Wizards Collection included.

They must have printed some more due to Fantastic Beasts I guess. It must have just been rereleased like right now, as I couldn't find anything about it in a google search.

Just so I got this straight: The only movies that are/have ever been extended are the first two, right?

I'm assuming that the scenes that make them extended are just the deleted scenes, added back into the movie?

Basically, I'm trying to get the best versions of the movies in the smallest possible package. I don't care much for extras but I'd like to have complete versions of the movies themselves (and not take up too much room on my shelf).

I'm really debating that Hogwarts collection, especially at that price

Did anyone manage to get the Wizard's Collection that may be willing to part with it???

I was in the process of checking out and got the notification that it was gone. Amazon is no help, they won't honor the price now and I was trying to get this for my niece for Christmas! When the set came out before, it was just too expensive and we wanted to get it for her but couldn't. When I saw it now, I immediately jumped on it and because of Amazon's shitty bandwidth - it was out of stock before I completed the order.

Hopefully someone can help.

i know this question has been asked multiple times and my apologies for asking again. Just to verify, the only difference between the wizard and Hogwarts collection is just the how the discs are stored and additional inventory like hogwart's cloth, map, necklace, etc.

Video & its playback wise they are the same right?
