It really is hard to fathom how they stay in business. Maybe because now it's kinda like a Starbucks with books? I see a lot of people there getting coffee and so forth and getting a free look at some books. Most of the books they sell can be found on amazon for much, much cheaper too. Anyway, the only reason I hope they stay in business is because of the Criterion sale they have twice a year. Otherwise, they are really out of step.

When stuff doesn't have a great sale at Barnes you always buy it elsewhere however as much as people bash them I get great deals their during the 40% of and 50% of sales. I've gotten the Batman show set for far lower then Amazon has ever listed it as one example. for huge new releases like Mad Max Barnes isn't NOT the place to look first esp of your want a MINT non plastic wrap slipcover |

My best buy sold my preorder I made over a month ago. Not a happy camper at all. Canceled the other three preorders I had with them (for Cinderella, Furious 7, and Jurassic World) because of this.

What I don't really understand (maybe its simple) is how ordering online from them is about $5-6 cheaper than picking it up in store. Is it because of shipping charges?

Is the MAD MAX ANTHOLOGY worth picking up. I've only seen FURY ROAD and MAD MAX 2: ROAD WARRIOR ... for the $60 price tag at Best Buy Canada, is it worth it?

The larger places are nice to go to. Get some coffee or tea, look at the art books, grab a cool foreign magazine. I would never buy movies there though, expect during 50% off sales.

My Barnes & Noble doesn't even sell movies or CDs any more. At least, not like other locations. They used to have one whole section for that stuff, but it was converted into a cafe area years ago. Nowadays, you might see some scattered New Release albums or movies at spots behind the front counter, but that's about it.

I mostly see older people in BN stores buying books. I don't think I have ever been in the movie/music section with another person besides an employee. I guess older people like going to the store instead of ordering online. Plus their new released best seller books are 30% and then add on the member discount.

I'm being asked if one needs to have seen the Mel Gibson films in order to "understand and enjoy" this one?

Also, is the Mad Max Anthology art bilingual? None of the pictures I've seen online suggest it, despite being labelled as such.
