Interesting that the sites review for the 4K doesn’t mention anything about the 2.0 Stereo mix

Which is one of the reasons some may be doing a double dip.

Sony again not putting inside artwork, at least the panels are easy to open to add inside artwork.

At least the colours are confident and grays are firmer, that's what we really needed to know....

Yeah, that's my problem too. The promise of restored theatrical captions is my reason for double-dipping on this.

French. The US and Canadian editions won't have any age ratings on the discs outside of R (see willo007's post above).

Never picked up the previous 4K '17 release, so I am unable to say how the DV grading compares to the HDR. I watched half the film last night and I must say... film grain lovers unite! Really impressive picture quality. Definitely another 4K title to fall into the "it's like watching it for the first time" category.

Does it have hard-coded subtitles? What about audio options?

You will have the hard-coded/burned in subtitles for the Romanian dialogue scenes. What's nice is they brought back the more gothic font which is how it was presented theatrically. You also get the correct subs with the digital as well. I think the only other time we got the correct subs was with the Criterion Laserdisc.

I only listened to the default Atmos track which is the same mix as the '17 release. It sounded pretty good to my ears.
