Me trying to save a buck is insane. Paid $7 more if I was able to find the 2d exclusive. Would it be weird if I go by both stores tomorrow and see but I still will not return my 3d standard exclusive? i already opened it, examined it for tiny issues and I am content with it even if I have yet to watch (ocd)?

Oh I did I it started because I thought the 20th anniversary blu Ray was different then the one in the first box set. I was very wrong anyway I have all them now. And it's better this way because if they were to make more imangine how big that box set would be. Also it wouldn't look good having a box set for the first 3 or 4 movies then having the rest as individual releases.

I guess JW was cool to watch in a sense of graphics, but I felt every 15 minutes it was another non-believeable story line added. We thought it wasn't in the cage so lets open up the doors...yeah that is what I always say when I can't locate animals at a zoo, they must not be in there....good now we can test to see if the raptors can be trained for the military...huh? I was kind of lost after that one. I was even ok with him training raptors. I don't mind that, but so much more I just looked the other way and said wow! The main part I loved in this movie was all the references to Jurassic Park, [Show spoiler] . Was like that is awesome, but other than that it was not good in my opinion as the storyline and backstory were just horrid.

If you didn't care much for the original but loved Jurassic World it's pretty much impossible to predict what you'd think of the other two sequels. I'd say it wouldn't hurt to give them a try, just to find out. Personally I find The Lost World highly entertaining.

![]() I enough to watch original. I never bought the movie. Sucker! Finally I bought Jurassic World bluray. I have a problem I need longer cable for subwoofer. I moved to near side a sofa. Subwoofer "element design audio" A-550 15 inches and almost over 800 watts. It very powerful. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I guess JW may be the best sequel, but I was surprised at how lackluster it was. No tension, no story, no characterization, no nothing really... but it still managed to be mildly entertaining, even if it didn't have one single surprise or original moment. It felt like the cliff notes version of a much longer, better film. Goes to show, if this is the #3 movie of all time, how easily audiences are "entertained" by average unoriginal fare.

![]() TrueBluFan, based on what I saw in 2 local target stores, the 2D version of JW that came with the bonus discs were all shrinkwrapped and were packaged in vortex cases (which is unorthodox for Universal Studio titles since they usually package in Viva case), while the non-exclusive version were all in those Y-fold cellophane wrapping package in viva cases. Think vortex cases were used to better fit the bonus disc that came in paper sleeve, but that's just my 2 cents. When there are piles of new releases, I always tend to grab blurays that have cellophane wrapping over shrinkwrap packaging, unless there is a difference due to exclusive release (as it was with JW). I get the vibe that a lot of shrinkwrapped blurays have once been opened before and don't get the same satisfaction of opening blurays that are wrapped in cellophane lol. The reason I get this vibe is that there were many times when I bought shrinkwrapped "brand new" bluray, there were also remnants of the original cellophane wrapping still attached to the glued portions, which clearly shows that the original cellophane wrapping had been opened and that it was repackaged in shrinkwrap (such a lazy effort...at least remove it all if possible and repackage it). It's so frustrating when this happens, especially when paying for a "brand new copy" and stores sell these as if they were NEVER opened before. Plus, the heat used for shrinkwrap also warps the bluray case and the artwork, which is also annoying. I still don't know why same new release title can have two different packaging. Last week when San Andreas came out, I noticed that the standard 2D bluray had both cases packaged in either shrinkwrap or cellophane. I ended up with the Best Buy exclusive since it came with their exclusive lenticular cover as well as bonus material on the bluray disc, but they were all shrinkwrapped with warped case/artwork. Being as it is, I still went with it, but would have preferred if they were in cellophane packaging. On the other hand, Best Buy exclusive for Live. Die. Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow also released by WB with exclusive content on the bluray disc, were all packaged in cellophane wrapping. Can't seem to grap the trend for these, and may never figure out why one packaging is used over the other lol |

Enjoyed this more the second go, though the final act is still just too stupid for me to enjoy. Still, it's a mostly fun movie, and the first half is damn near great. I have a good time watching it.
The transfer is amazing, real 10/10 demo material. Some of the control room scenes are a little oddly lit, but other than that it's a perfect stunner. |

Man I can't wait to watch this again, but my copy won't be here until sometime tomorrow (since my Amazon pre-order didn't ship until release day
![]() When me and my brother went and saw it in theaters it was packed, so we ended up having to sit in like the 2nd or 3rd row from the screen (and a bit off to the left). So we didn't have a great view, but we both still really enjoyed the movie. Mainly because it took us back in time to when we first watched Jurassic Park ![]() |
