I hate to be critical of a movie I haven't seen, but this looks to me like it has the potential to be a brand-damaging movie. I honestly think they should just release it now so they have an excuse for why it tanks and it won't get any bad media coverage since the media is a little bit focused on other things right now. This is an opportunity for them to just get it the heck out of the way.

Actually, cities are desert, we just go out to buy food and avoid any contact with people. Streets are empty. Jobs are over. Shops are closed. The economical backlash will be DEVASTATING.

I would be a little concerned about damaging the Marvel brand in general. Do we know yet whether this will be branded as an MCU movie or still in conjunction with Marvel or however they were presenting them.

It is not Mcu based on the tralier opening. At this point the general audience knows the difference.

I noticed they are going with the newer thicker white logo from the last movie poster at the end of this tv spot. A slight nitpick, but I prefer the older thinner yellow logo. I just associate the color yellow to the New Mutants team, because yellow (and black) was the color of their uniforms in the comics. Plus, I just think the first logo looks better and more like a horror movie logo with the thin scratched letters as opposed to the later one which looks like thick paint brush strokes. Hopefully when it comes out on blu-ray, they'll keep the first logo on the cover.
