I'm pretty sure I've lived through hundreds of serial killings. It does seem quite possible that Gale Weathers would be killed off in kind of a Joker killing Batman audacity...her being a journalist etc....Dewey could die off, but he certainly wouldn't be the first cop to survive his tenure un-murdered. Sydney would have been killed off in the first movie if she ever was going to. They might kill her off just for the drama of it. It's not unthinkable that they would be killed, but it's not like the serial killers in the first 4 movies were specifically trying to kill the cast of SCREAM.

I can’t f*cking avoid this trailer as it’s everywhere I go.

Someone on twitter told me their screening of Dune had the trailer but it had a few new shots. Not sure if true or not.
