I assume these new French 4K and Blu-ray Editions coming out in May 2024 are the same as the current UK versions. Probably to coincide with the release of Nikita on 4K (2024) very soon followed by the re-release of Leon 4K (2024) and The Big Blue on 4K in 2025.

Yes, in the written review they mention this is the same 2020 master that StudioCanal used on their release. Of course they just couldn't help themselves and had to call the French edition "the most definitive of them all". They were wrong when they claimed the same thing about Drive and are probably wrong with this as well, you're not beating a FiM encode.

This steel is the best of them. Still my favorite. I think I need to track down the Studio Canal release as well. I kinda like the color grading there.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with the composition lol. You might not like the style, but it presents a competent scene. Easily my favorite as well. Don't really love any of them but this steel was just fine for me.

The composition is ugly and uninspired. It isn't even competent in being identifiable rep of the movie. That's all.

It literally is just the chase sequence reimagined as the cops facing her on some area of the city below skyscraper area. This isn't rocket science. It basically a take on their hiding out in the bottom of the city.
