I saw it in theaters and thought it was ok. I'll buy it, but when the price drops. Y'all who know me, know my situation so I am not planning on buying anything else on Blu-Ray for the time being.

I saw the film before I red the comic. I'll be picking up all editions.

The Ultimate Edition is coming around Christmas (one of the news links mentions it IIRC) and unfortunately while it will be longer than the Director's Cut it will NOT include all the special features on the DC. i figure I'll get the Ultimate Edition and rent the DC for the special features. There's no mention of the comic book blu-ray being part of it either.

Yup; and with 25 more minutes (and i read what they will include) it seems even more worth it now. I love movies like this and V for Vendetta.

I am really looking forward to watching Watchmen again on da ol Blu-ray format. I would have enjoyed it more if they would have put some pants on the blue fellow.

Yes. As I posted a page ago on this thread, Zak Snyder said there most likely would be no special features at all on the Ultimate Cut, rather just that version of the film itself.

He said the would be some kind of commentary but not the special version on the DC and yeah not the other extras either.

They have to make a deluxe box set with the comic book blu-ray.... it's crying for one.

Except that destroys a aspect of his character. Which his detachment from humanity. I don't get why everyone is afraid of seeing a blue penis if its a part of the story. They complain when Megan Fox doesn't show her skin for no reason other then to please themselves but as soon as a penis comes on screen that has a reason for it they run around saying it is awful and how straight they are.

I saw it in the Theaters and was impressed with a good part of the movie.
Admitedly there were some parts of the movie that slowed the pace down and probably could have been left out.

But I already own the "cartoon/comic book" edition of "Watchmen" so I will be purchasing it when it is released.(Though I will try to get the collectible Owl Ship version or the Rorshacks Head collectible versions if possible).

Not the best movie made, but worth the purchase, and better then a majority of the movies out there.

The little teen boys from 12 to 50 will tell you that Megan Fox is beautiful and as such its ok for her to show skin. I tell you never seen so much comments over a blue CGI penis.

Yeah. That sale was amazing.

BTW, even though they tightened up the sale (Watch3 and B2G1 no longer stack, LOTR and GWTW are excluded from everything, and pre-orders are excluded from B2g1), it has improved in other ways. Some excluded movies are now included. Dark Khight and Gran Torino now stack (25% and B2G1).

I got Dark Knight, Batman Begins and 2001 for $40. Pretty sweet...

I was just being silly. I could care less either way. I am looking forward to the Watchman BD...no silliness there.
