One look from your baby son/daughter and it suddenly doesn't really matter anyway.

when my son was born, I just wasn't prepared for the emotions that ran through my body the minute I picked him up. I sobbed for about 15 minutes. I don't know if it was because we officially knew he was born without any problems or what. My wife has a picture of me holding my son and crying, it is her favorite picture.

I will also say that since the day he was born, I am a lot more emotional about everything...

All of this "wire management" talk is getting out of hand. Between you, landry, Todd, and Brent, I think you're all getting carried away. Unless someone is volunteering to come tackle mine...

I think you have done a wonderful job of wire management. Thought it would be a fun task to keep me busy on my holidays...cause it will take me a week.

LOL...I was just teasing buddy. Landry and I have been going round and round (and Fors too) for about a week now. The extent of my wire management has been hiding it from site... I really should take a pic of the pile of spaghetti behind my stand. I do thank you for the compliment, but it's certainly along the lines of "giving the illusion" that it's not as bad as it really is. I keep saying I will get to it one of these days, and that day may be sooner rather than later, when I get my new receiver.

I'm not entirely sure what you're planning to do either? As I recall, your setup is one of the cleanest and best looking on the site.

If yours is a pile of speghetti...then think of mine as the entangled venomous snakes in the Well of Souls from Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I have a real hard time believing that, but I'll continue to live in the world of "out of sight out of my mind". As my mother used to say, it leaves something to the imagination - in your case, it has the appearance of being managed back there, so I believe that it is.

Althought I may have to just take a picture of mine to show you and Fors and landry. You all might be a little shocked at me....

I consider mine to be an excellent example of abstract art. So much so, that I don't want to share it with anyone in fear they might upset the perfect balance of layers, twists and turns I have designed......yes, this is one of the many ways how I convince myself that I don't need to do anything back there.....

No, I think I would. Just wait until I get my amp...it will be even worse than it is now.

I must say, though, HDMI has actually made mine better. Back when I had a component cable (3 plugs) and optical audio cable run to everything it was not a pretty sight (much worse than now). Plus I had the PS2, Gamecube, and separate DVD player hooked up. It was a real mess back there. If I ever swap out the 360 for one with HDMI outputs, I'll be in decent shape. As it is now, that's all I have running with component / optical cables.
