Alright, didn't knew that. But it still remains doubtful when it concerns the Lord of the Rings Blu-ray. Since a lot of people cannot get it working and nobody has reported it working as of yet. So I would be double checking this before adding it to the db.

yea but like he said, have they been tested or was this just info copied from a back cover

I have seen so many errors in my time of inputting stuff from the covers to the actual menus.

Copying information from that site or any other should be forbidden in order to keep this site as accurate as possible. Test the disc, 100% Foolproof

Warner Bros is the studio who released it in Japan. The U.S. studio is Viz Pictures. It even states it on the cover image.

I suggested it because of an upcoming Korean Blu-ray called Woochi which (according to the specs on various sites) has DTS-HD MA 6.1 ES.

I can understand why you suggest it. And before I continue I have to admit I've made some similar mistakes here, but that's why I asked you to check.

After all... with an upcoming release you cannot even trust official sources for 100%. For instance: in Europe (I don't know about the US) there are a lot of 20th Century Fox movies that are officially released as having DTS-HD Master Audio as primary track, which is also mentioned on the back cover, but upon checking they're actually DTS-HD High Resolution tracks.

In this case it's a combination of completely wrong information from the studio/distributor and lying to customers who pay around € 20-30 per movie. The other downside of this whole story is that 20th CF uses region lock on almost 100% of their releases, so I can't import from the US, only from the UK. You can guess my opinion towards 20th CF.

Anyway, regarding upcoming releases I would only trust the studio's information, but have it double checked when it's actually released.

There are so much websites spreading out incorrect information nowadays. If the first sheep mentions something, the rest of the herd shamelessly follows (blindfolded). Even major websites know no shame in using completely incorrect information or information from untrustworthy sources.

I think the guys from Blu-ray.com are doing such a great job by listening to us and actually implementing features we suggest. We just owe it to them to keep the db clean and correct, don't you think?
