It's now supposed to have left Indiana today (I'm in Maryland) and be here I'm guessing Monday. I hope they don't try to pull that signature required BS on me.

I did the same exact thing and told them to please comp the one day delivery charge (I'm a Prime member) and I ordered the EM/D on the phone with the Amazon rep and I should be receiving it by Friday! Definitely pays to call every once in a while.

I asked about the status of my order via the website (didn't talk to anyone in person) on the Monday before these came out and mentioned I had initially been given a release date delivery estimate and they bumped me up to one-day (Prime member) as well. They didn't have the stock until late Wed. night but mine shipped yesterday and they're out for delivery now.

My request wasn't a complaint, I just brought it to their attention and they comped me the upgrade without even asking. I wouldn't recommend "complaining" because you're more likely to get what you want by being reasonable. Ultimately this isn't Amazon.com's fault, there were shortages of these titles at other retailers.

Who said I was complaining? I was totally reasonabke with the rep on the phone. Jump to conclusions much???

Got my copy yesterday from Amazon, then was surprised when today I got another package from Amazon and it was another copy of El Mariachi/Desperado. I've checked my order history and credit card, doesn't seem they charged me for both copies. Never had anything like that happen before. I figured I better hold onto it for a while and see if they end up charging me twice.

Technically, you should always get a signature confirmation from the UPS guy unless you're cool with the UPS guy. When my regular UPS guy takes a vacation the fill-in cat always makes me sign for my stuff. The same with Fedex. USPS does not need a signature.

I got two copies of the Coldplay CD "Prospekt's March" from Amazon.com when I ordered it but they were in the same package and it undoubtedly happened because it was an EP packaged in a thin cardboard sleeve and the packer just grabbed two by mistake. Shipping two copies of something like a Blu-ray or a DVD is pretty crazy though, especially in two packages.

Amazon pages state this and Once Upon A Time In Mexico is in stock, yet orders says they won't ship before January 18th (at earliest, no less). Wonder what the problem is? Beats me how they need over a week to ship if they already have it.

Surprised at finding only 1 copy of each at BB. I was reluctant at purchasing OUATIM because I could hear the disk rolling around inside the case. I took the chance anyway, and I saw no evidence of damage. I can't wait to watch the trilogy this weekend.

Maybe there doing this for customers in high theft areas?

I had a more expensive item than yours delivered on my porch by UPS yesterday.

Got this at Best Buy a couple days ago and watched both movies last night. Its been ages since I saw El Mariachi. I forgot how fun these movies are. They both looked great in my opinion. As disappointed I was in Once Upon a Time in Mexico at the time, I may need to complete the trilogy anyway.

Im pissed off. tracking number says its already in town but status is listed as 'in transit' meaning it probly wont be delivered til monday.
