I thought this too, I though Scorsese was experimenting with the format this time around.

I really hope this is Leos time for that statue. He have gotten screwed so many times.

My vote goes for Leo.

But something tells me that the oscar people will go for the slave movie instead.

Because that's more a more "important" subject.

Interesting roundtable interview with Scorsese, DiCaprio, Hill, and Winter.

The interviewer brings up the editing process and mentions the final cut is 2hrs 45mins and nobody corrects him to say it's 3 hours. Hmm.
