I use this site for all my Scream news. Last major news about Scream 5 though was when the Dimension Films added it to their official poll.

I think this may actually be my favourite horror franchise of all-time, as much as I like Friday the 13th 1-4, Freddy vs Jason and the re-make, I don't really like the rest. So far I've enjoyed every single Scream.

Final Destination used to be my favorite horror franchise. Until Scream 4 came out. The greatness of Scream and Scream 4 are more powerful than all five Final Destination's alone.

Bring on FD6 and Scream 5.

It would seem a lot of people agree, would imagine at this point Ghostface is probably one of the 3 most recognizable horror icons out there, after Jason Voorhees and Freddy Krueger.

I would say Michael Myers is bigger than Jason and Freddy. Was never a fan of either of them.

Totally agree with this statement. I enjoy some Friday the 13th movies but not all of them. For Scream all 4 movies I love and Scream is easily my favorite horror franchise.

Well I think Scream got it right, the main hero is a really hot chick, too bad most horror franchises can't do that. Well I'd say Nightmare on Elm Street re-make but as far as I can tell that's not going to get a sequel.

This and a TV show. If that is still in the works. I have not seen anything about that since the movie came out on blu-ray.

I would even deal with a sequel where the main trio only make cameos and it focuses on a new group of teens in another town that's quite aware of the Stab films.
